Hola amigos feliz lunes de aguja para todos y feliz inicio de semana. Gracias a Dios he tenido muchas cositas de costura en estos días lo que me hace muy feliz ya que me desestreso de lo cotidiano del día a día y me hace feliz ver los resultados en cada proyecto.
Continuo con mi amiga XL que tiene últimamente una afición por comprar telas y renovarse su closet, con cosas sencillas en diseño pero en cada proyecto pide hacer algo adicional que le da un toque sutil pero elegante a la prenda.

Thank God I have had a lot of sewing stuff these days which makes me very happy since I de-stress from the daily routine and it makes me happy to see the results in each project.I continue with my friend XL who has lately a penchant for buying fabrics and renewing her closet, with simple things in design but in each project she asks to do something additional that gives a subtle but elegant touch to the garment.
En esta ocasión tenía una boda en horas de la mañana y quería un vestido en tono azul, sencillo pero elegante sin caer en lo exagerado por la hora en la que se realizaría la boda. Ya le había hecho unas blusas y arreglado un vestido al estilo que quería este nuevo, así que mezcló las mangas tulipanes de una de las blusas hecha, con la falda lisa del vestido que ya tenía pero le agregó unos centímetros a la parte trasera de la falda. Así me dispuse y doble la tela que era 1.20 cm y dibuje todas las piezas para después cortar, así aseguré que no me faltaría ninguna.
On this occasion she had a wedding in the morning and wanted a dress in blue, simple but elegant without falling into the exaggerated for the time in which the wedding would take place. I had already made some blouses and arranged a dress in the style I wanted this new one, so I mixed the tulip sleeves of one of the blouses made, with the plain skirt of the dress I already had but added a few centimeters to the back of the skirt. I folded the fabric, which was 1.20 cm, and drew all the pieces and then cut them out, so I could make sure I wouldn't miss any of them.
Inicié con la parte superior del vestido, lo primero que hice fue armar las mangas tipo tulipán.
I started with the upper part of the dress, the first thing I did was to assemble the tulip sleeves.
Lego uní por los hombros la pieza delantera y trasera, hice las pinzas del busto, pegue las mangas y cosí costados.
Then I joined the front and back pieces at the shoulders, made the bust darts, glued the sleeves and sewed the sides.
La falda que son dos piezas las uní por los costados y luego hice el ruedo, un poco de trabajo porque esta cortada al sejo la falda. Luego se une la parte superior del vestido a la falda. En la espalda deje un poco de abertura y unos tiras para amarrar en el cuello ya que no se le colocó cierre o cremallera.
The skirt, which is two pieces, I joined them at the sides and then I made the hem, a little bit of work because the skirt is cut at the hem. Then I joined the top of the dress to the skirt. In the back I left a little opening and some straps to tie at the neck since no zipper or zipper was placed.
Como ven un vestido muy fácil y rápido de hacer, en un color muy bonito y un diseño acorde a la ocasión. Como no hubo tiempo de medir he posado yo como modelo y debo decir que a quedado muy lindo. Obviamente a ella le quedará mas ajustado ya que esta hecho a su medida. La tela es Beverli y se adaptó muy bien al diseño que se quería a demas que es muy buena para trabajarla.0
As you can see a very easy and quick dress to make, in a very nice color and a design according to the occasion. As there was no time to measure I have posed as a model and I must say that it looks very nice. Obviously it will fit her better since it is made to her size. The fabric is Beverli and it adapted very well to the design I wanted and it is very good to work with.

This is really elegant, I had often wishes to sew a tulip sleeve too but I never tried it.
Maybe this will inspire me to do so.

El vestido me gusta mucho por la manera en que se ajusta a la cintura, ya que es alta, y las mangas también son lindas. El color totalmente acertado.
