Happy day friends, this is my first publication in this community that reading its description is the ideal to express what weighs us down helping us to release burdens through the relief.

To begin with, I want to talk about my mother, a strong and fighting woman who dedicated her life to raise her two children and three who were not hers. She was always there for anyone who needed her, and as far as her strength allowed, she did it without expecting anything in return.

For seven years she has been suffering from Alzheimer's, currently in stage 2, there are 3 stages, and since her diagnosis I brought her to live with me, until a month ago where the crises overtook my little or much experience regarding the management of people with this disease, so an aunt suggested me to move her to her house because it is more spacious, I live in an apartment, a smaller space. The change was a good idea, since her seizures were a little less frequent since she has more distraction with neighbors, etc.

I decided to take her for a medical check-up to be calmer and it is not only Alzheimer's, but also high blood pressure, big heart and thyroid, then I felt myself collapse. Thank God she already has a new treatment that day by day has been adjusting and at least she has been able to sleep, something she did not do at night or during the day. When she sleeps her brain rests and processes a little more what she is told and her seizures may be more manageable.

Since my mother's move, it has hit me hard, I spend nights and days with her and then go home to be with my children and my husband who I also miss. Many people say you have to be patient, but even the most patient person runs out of resources to act when a situation of this magnitude hits them. These are crises that make me desperate and now that I know that my blood pressure can rise with them, I get more overwhelmed and stressed.

Many times we think that this kind of situations will not happen to us and when facing them we feel down, Alzheimer's is a very strong disease, FEA, although I have been trying for years to prepare myself to give the necessary help but the final stages are truly devastating and exhausting for both the patient and the family members.

For me it is not an option to get tired, I just need to keep looking for what strategies I can apply now for this new stage of the disease and organize myself in time, because the problem with me is that, although I have the help of my aunt, cousin, husband and children, I feel that this responsibility is totally and completely mine, then I must also learn to release load to not break completely at a certain time.

I am very grateful for the family support because it is fundamental, alone it would be impossible or it would be difficult for me to continue, true friends are also an encouragement because they give us those words of strength and sometimes a time on the phone, with conversations that transport us out of all this stress, that these situations of family illness generate in us.

Hive is also my window to entertainment in these hard times, and although for obvious reasons I have stopped posting frequently, when I have been able to do so it has helped me to release this stress and today with this post it helps me to unburden all this burden I feel.

Thank you for reading me and may this week be one of many blessings to all.
