Feliz sábado amigos, esta semana me dedique a ver entre mis bolsas de retazos para tratar de ordenarlos. Entre estos retazos encontré un trozo de tela de peluche que no se porqué estaba ahí ya que recuerdo la compre para hacer algo en especifico que ya no recuerdo ya que fue hace muuuucho tiempo jajaja.

Happy Saturday friends, this week I was looking through my bags of scraps to try to sort them out. Among these scraps I found a piece of stuffed fabric that I don't know why it was there since I remember I bought it to make something specific that I don't remember since it was a long time ago hahaha.

Lo cierto es que la vi y de inmediato pensé en que quedaría bien una pequeña alfombra debajo de mi mesa de la sala, ya que me gustan pero son un tanto costosas, Solo eran 30 cm de tela así que la solución fue cortarla a la mitad sacando dos trozos de tela de 50 x 60 cm.

The truth is that I saw it and immediately thought that it would look good as a small rug under my living room table, as I like them but they are somewhat expensive. There were only 30 cm of fabric so the solution was to cut it in half taking out two pieces of fabric of 50 x 60 cm.

Teniendo los dos trozos lo que seguía era unirlos en la máquina lo cual no fue tan fácil por la cantidad de pelos de la tela, así que primero pase costura a mano y luego me fui a la máquina y pase doble costura para mayor resistencia. Como la tela es gruesa por el lado del revés no hizo falta colocar forro.

Having the two pieces the next step was to join them in the machine which was not so easy because of the amount of hairs of the fabric, so first I sewed by hand and then I went to the machine and double stitched for strength. As the fabric is thick on the wrong side it was not necessary to place lining.

Así que lo que queda es colocar la alfombra y ver lo bien que luce en mi sala, que para sorpresa hace juego con el forro que tuve que colocarle a mis muebles luego que mi gato me los dañó al rasgarlos.

So all that's left is to place the rug and see how nice it looks in my living room, which to my surprise matches the lining I had to put on my furniture after my cat damaged it by tearing it.

Como siempre he pensado, solo basta un poco de creatividad y disposición para hacer las cosas y todo nos saldrá muy lindo. Yo quedé feliz con mi alfombra que aunque no fue comprada en tienda quedó muy bella. Saludos amigos y nos leemos pronto.

As I have always thought, all it takes is a little creativity and willingness to do things and everything will turn out beautifully. I was happy with my rug that even though it wasn't store bought it was very beautiful. Greetings friends and see you soon.
