A quien no le ha pasado que lavando la ropa con cloro se nos dañe una prenda porque se nos fue en el lote por error. Me pasó hace un tiempo con un suéter que mi esposo compró y sin darme cuenta lo dañé.

Who hasn't had it happen to us that while washing clothes with bleach, a garment gets damaged because it went in the lot by mistake. It happened to me some time ago with a sweater that my husband bought and without realizing it I damaged it.

Mi esposo obviamente no quiso usarlo más y dijo que lo desechara pero estaba nuevo, claro el color azul intermedio paso a ser azul cielo con ligeras manchas blancas y pensé que podía hacer algo con él y lo guardé.

My husband obviously didn't want to wear it anymore and said to throw it away but it was new, of course the intermediate blue color became sky blue with light white spots and I thought I could do something with it and I kept it.

Como del pantalón de pijama que les compartí anteriormente me quedó tela recordé el suéter y pensé que para dormir me podría servir si le agregaba ciertos detalles en esta tela. Lo primero que hice fue cortar a mi medida un nuevo suéter utilizando uno que ya tengo, baje cuello delantero y trasero y reduje mangas y largo del suéter original.

Since I had some fabric left over from the pajama pants I shared with you earlier, I remembered the sweater and thought that I could use it for sleeping if I added some details in this fabric. The first thing I did was to cut a new sweater to my size using one I already have, I lowered the front and back neck and reduced the sleeves and length of the original sweater.

Luego comencé a decorar con la tela estampada para hacerlo más femenino, corte un corazón y lo cosí a un lado de la pieza delantera. Luego corté otra pieza y coloqué el cuello en forma de V. Cosí por los costados, hice el ruedo y en los puños también cosí un poco de tela estampada.

Then I started decorating with the printed fabric to make it more feminine, I cut a heart and sewed it to one side of the front piece. Then I cut another piece and placed the neck in a V shape. I sewed on the sides, made the hem and also sewed some printed fabric on the cuffs.

Finalmente terminé este nuevo suéter que adapté para hacer juego con mi pantalón de pijama nuevo y que además no fue desechado.

Decidí hacer un suéter para dormir porque obviamente se ve un poco las manchas causadas por el cloro, pero perfectamente me protejo del frío en las noches cuando duermo y cuando voy a Caripe es ideal dormir abrigadita. Espero les haya gustado esta idea, nos seguimos leyendo.
