Hello my dear Cinephiles. It is a pleasure for me to participate for the first time in this interesting contest promoted by @cinetv where the theme to analyze is about movies based on real events. In this opportunity I bring you the analysis of one of these movies which is super interesting and very motivating "A Wonderful Mind".

En esta oportunidad les traigo el análisis de una de estas películas la cual es super interesante y muy motivadora "Una mente maravillosa".
A Beautiful Mind is a film based on the life of American mathematician John Forbes Nash (Russell Crowe). A man with a brilliant mind. Where he goes through very painful moments due to a mental illness (schizophrenia) with which he had to fight and caused obstacles in his work, thus preventing his professional success. I really loved the way the story unfolded and the role Russell Crowe's wife played, I would have supported my husband too if he was going through a similar situation. For me it was an inspiring story as they were able to cope with such a disease. It is not easy to deal with a disease of this magnitude. I identify more with the character of Jennifer Connelly, Russell Crowe's wife, the way she helped her husband to face the disease and comply with his treatment to the fullest and how he faced his emotions since Russell Crowe did not control them, and with the help of his wife he managed to recover and the greatest thing was that he was able to obtain the Nobel Prize in 1994. Truly true love helped this couple to move forward and how they learned to live with the disease.
Esta historia realmente me encantó la manera como fue desarrollándose la historia y el papel que jugo la esposa de Russell Crowe, también hubiese apoyado a mi esposo si estuviera pasando por una situación similar. Para mi fue una historia inspiradora ya que pudieron salir adelante con semejante enfermedad. No es fácil lidiar con una enfermedad de esta magnitud. Me identifico más con el personaje de Jennifer Connelly, la esposa de Russell Crowe, su manera como ayudo a su esposo a enfrentar la enfermedad y cumplir su tratamiento a cabalidad y como enfrentaba sus emociones ya que Russell Crowe no las controlaba, y con la ayuda de su esposa logra reponerse y lo más grandioso haber logrado obtener el premio Nobel del año 1994. Realmente el amor verdadero ayudo a esta pareja a salir adelante y como aprende a convivir con la enfermedad.
From this story I was attracted to how wonderful and prodigious Russell Crowe's mind was, his intelligence and the way he approached situations, despite not having good mental health. Russell Crowe being a genius, had self-esteem problems. Not everything in life is perfect. I could think that this being with a wonderful mind could not have any defect, but it is not so, which leads me to think that he is a human being with flaws and virtues.
De esta historia me atrajo lo maravilloso y prodigiosa que es la mente de Russell Crowe su inteligencia la manera de enfocar las situaciones, a pesar de no tener una buena salud mental. Russell Crowe siendo un genio, tenia problemas de autoestima. No todo en la vida es perfecto. Podría pensar que este ser con una mente maravillosa no podría tener algún defecto, pero no es así, lo que me lleva a pensar que es un ser humano con defectos y virtudes.
One of the many mental illnesses is very well reflected in this film. And in real life it is an illness that afflicts many people. Mental health is often overlooked, unnoticed and uncared for. And an important way to take care of our mental health is to learn how to manage our emotions. So I really believe that this is a story based on true events.
Uno de las tantas afecciones de salud mental están muy bien reflejadas en esta película. Y en la vida real es un mal que aqueja a muchas personas. La salud mental muchas veces no es tomada en cuenta, pasa por desapercibida y no la cuidamos. Y una manera importantes de cuidar nuestra salud mental es aprender a manejar nuestras emociones. Por lo tanto realmente creo que es una historia basada en hechos reales.

Esta película me encanta y tengo un recuedo muy lindo sobre la persona que me la recomendó, se trataba de una profesora de lingüística en mi curso introductorio para la universidad en el año 2006, el último día de clases ella me llamó y me dijo buque buscará esa película, fue lo último que me dijo, no volví a ver más a esa gran profesora. Interesting story which is very possible to happen in real life. Falling in love with your teacher is possible, haha and then developing an ailment after some years of marriage is really challenging. I really commend the wife for showing love and care for better and for worse. Weldone.
