The sky through its clouds announced rain showers

The day promised rain. I walked briskly as I did so I began to take pictures of the sky and its heavy dark clouds. The contrasts of it were great. Thank God I was able to run the errands I wanted to run. I was able to take these pictures so that they could visualize how beautiful and splendorous the sky was, showing us those heavy clouds that warned us that what was coming was water. Each cloud was unique with very different characteristics from one another. To me they looked great. And the darker and more mysterious they looked the more I enjoyed photographing them. My husband and daughter were encouraging me that rain was coming and that we could catch a cold, the weather was quite cold and the temperature was at 10 degrees. For me it was ideal. We were very warm.

I was not wrong when I got home to a small studio apartment we were renting. There was a window that looked outside and I could see the rain falling. People were running from one place to another to take shelter from the rain. I lost sight of the sky. I could no longer make out the clouds. It started to get dark and all I had left was the memory of that magical afternoon full of heavy clouds that announced the rain that fell.
