"Mother sweet treasure, always ready to serve others" / "Madre dulce tesoro, siempre dispuesta a servirle al prójimo". [ENG/ESP]

You know, I really don't understand those who do not nobly practice the art of serving others and I say this because I believe that when you offer your helping hand to those around you without expecting anything in return, life becomes simpler, just for the satisfaction of being useful. to whoever needs it, I know that there are endless conflicting opinions on the matter and I respect all points of view, I had to learn it the hard way. When I was a child I always observed my mother with this life practice and I truly say it from the bottom of my heart, I never understood her, she has always had a smile on her face and the willingness to serve those in need without expecting anything in return.

At that moment, as a result of my immaturity, it seemed exasperating to me that my mother was always willing to help others. Of course, I was too young to understand the reasoning that led her to act like that in such a detached way. I questioned her and asked her why she did it. I did and she always answered me with the phrase; "do good without looking at who"*...

As the years passed as a young man I asked him; Mom, why if many people have acted badly against you for no reason, do you still continue to help them when they need it? She gave me an answer that marked my life; her words were; … " Son, do you know how many times that person had to think and rethink the fact of coming to my house to ask me for something I needed, knowing how he has acted towards me, imagine how many times on the way from his house to ours he did not think in turning back and not coming to where I am to request what they really need, I assure you that it is much more difficult for that person to come to me than it is for me to give them from the heart whatever they need if it is in my hands..."

Those words from my mother gave meaning to all her actions that I observed throughout my life and for me that idea was sealed in my memory, because I understood the importance of serving those who need since it is in the moment of true need that people come for help, from then on I understood the reason for their actions and respected their noble work, I am always happy to bring the harvest fruits of our sowing to my parents' house in large quantities, because deep down I know that my mother The more she has, the more she gives to others, without them asking for her help. She is pleased to divide what she has and give each person a portion.

My mother for me is an encyclopedia of teachings with her example, throughout my 44 years I have been able to have the joy of learning from her and my father even in my moments of rebellion, I recently told my children of 11 and 8 years old, if I had paid more attention to my parents' advice I would have surely made fewer mistakes, they asked me why dad? I explained to them that when you are growing up you think that your parents are somewhat strict and one does not understand that everything is for our good, because they care for us and love us with all their hearts, that is why it is very important to listen and obey them, everything has a purpose in life.

Nowadays, thank God, my parents are still alive and my mother always maintains her life practice, she is always ready to help those in need, today more than ever her thoughts are still valid, she continues to teach it to her grandchildren and preach to everyone what to do. good will always be a blessing to both the giver and the receiver. Today I take this moment to share with you this reflection and pay tribute in life to my old people for all their love, sacrifices and unconditional dedication, I GRATEFULLY LOVE THEM;"MARY AND BETO"

Son, do you know how many times that person had to think and rethink the fact of coming to my house to ask me for something I needed, knowing how he has acted towards me, imagine how many times on the way from his house to ours he did not think in turning back and not coming to where I am to request what they really need, I assure you that it is much more difficult for that person to come to me than it is for me to give them from the heart whatever they need if it is in my hands..."

She was right about that, but unfortunately these days the world is full of selfish people who just take and don't give back anything. In any case, your mum is an exceptional woman!
