Happy and prosperous New Year // Feliz y próspero año nuevo.

Hello friends of #hive and especially the @hive-178265 community, as always, I hope you are all well, as are your families and friends, but above all, I want to wish you all a happy new year full of rich blessings, with good health and prosperity. Well, friends, as you all know, we are just finishing the year and starting a new one, and I think there is nothing more beautiful and welcoming than doing so in the bosom of the family that saw us grow up and surrounded by our loved ones, so this is how we decided to end the year.

As usual, we always gather at my grandmother's house, which is the place where each and every one of us on my mother's side of the family was born. It is a large, welcoming place where we all fit and where we keep our most beautiful childhood memories, because we grew up and played there when we were little, so this place is always special and beautiful for ending the year.

Everyone in the family decided to get together there and wait for the new year, or at least a few hours, but always with the satisfaction of being together on that last day of the year. so we gathered a few things to spend the day there, with Grandma, in the place where we grew up. This time, my husband @eduardo900613 and his son joined us, and they are really enjoying visiting my grandmother's house in the country.

These are days of many mixed feelings, as we are filled with joy and rejoicing for the goals and dreams we have achieved in the year that is ending, but they are also days of great nostalgia for those who are far away and also for those who are no longer with us. All we have left are those memories of the good times we had together.

As I mentioned earlier, we took advantage of the Christmas spirit to celebrate and also remember those who are no longer with us. Working together to keep costs down given the current situation in the country, we managed to gather enough things to spend the afternoon together. We made empanadas, buñuelos, a panetela, a family-size pizza, pudding, bought cookies, and invented a Cuban pasta dish. We bought palitroques and made croquettes, because the idea was not to make a dinner, but rather a snack table to spend the afternoon with the family, talking, telling stories, and reminiscing.

One of the things we like most about my grandmother's house is all the nature that surrounds it, and on this occasion, it really showed off, ha ha ha, because on this last day of the year, we even witnessed the appearance of a beautiful rainbow, a natural phenomenon that we hadn't seen around here in a very long time, something that made this day even more special. We all saw it as a ray of light, color, and hope for this new year that is beginning.

We ate a lot, enjoyed the afternoon with laughter, stories, and jokes, shared our experiences from the past year, and celebrated with the hope that the new year will be much better than the one that is ending. We celebrated as a family, spent more time together, and filled ourselves with that rich family warmth that we all need. It was a wonderful day, full of tenderness and love, a day that we hope will be repeated many more times in the new year despite the circumstances our country is going through, because when there is love and desire to do something, nothing is impossible. Hola amigos de #hive y en especial a la comunidad @hive-178265 , como siempre espero que se encuentren bien al igual que sus familiares y amigos, pero ante todo quiero desearles a todos que tengan un feliz año nuevo lleno de ricas bendiciones, con mucha salud y prosperidad. Bueno amigos como todos saben estamos recién finalizando el año y comenzando uno nuevo, y creo que no hay nada más hermoso y acogedor que hacerlo en él ceno de la familia que nos vio crecer y rodeado de nuestros seres queridos, así que de esta forma decidimos terminar el año.

Cómo de costumbre nos reunimos siempre en la casa de la abuela, que es el lugar que nos vio nacer a todos y cada uno de nosotros por parte de mi familia materna, un lugar grande donde cabemos todos y acogedor dónde guardamos nuestros recuerdos más hermosos de infancia, pues allí crecimos y jugamos cuando éramos pequeños, por lo que este lugar es siempre especial y hermoso para finalizar el año.

Todos en la familia decidimos reunirnos allá y esperar el nuevo año, o al menos algunas horas, pero siempre con la satisfacción de estar todos juntos ese último día del año, así que reunimos algunas cositas para pasar el día por allá, junto a la abuela y en el lugar que nos vio crecer, en esta ocasión nos acompañó mi esposo @eduardo900613 y su niño, que les está gustando mucho visitar la casa de mi abuela en el campo.

Estos son días de muchos sentimientos encontrados, pues nos encontramos llenos de alegría y regocijo por las metas y sueños que hemos obtenido en el año que termina, pero también son días de mucha nostalgia por los que se encuentran lejos y también por los que ya no están, solo nos quedan esos recuerdos de los buenos momentos que vivimos juntos.

Cómo les decía anteriormente aprovechamos esa alegría navideña para celebrar y también recordar a los que ya no nos acompañan, y en colaboración conjunta para que todo fuera más económico por la situación que atraviesa el país, logramos reunir bastantes cositas para pasar la tarde juntos, hicimos empanadas, buñuelos, una panetela, una pizza familiar, budín, compramos galletitas y le inventamos una pasta cubana, compramos palitroques e hicimos croquetas, pues la idea no era hacer una cena, sino más bien una mesa de picadera para pasar la tarde en familia entre conversaciones cuentos y recuerdos.

Dentro de las cosas que más nos gusta de la casa de mi abuela es toda la naturaleza que la rodea y en esta ocasión se lució, ja, ja, ja, pues hasta pudimos presenciar en este último dia del año la aparición de un hermoso arcoíris, fenómeno natural que hacía muchísimo tiempo no veíamos por acá, algo que hizo de este día una tarde más especial aún, todos los vimos como un rayo de luz, color y esperanza para este nuevo año que comienza.

Comimos mucho, disfrutamos la tarde entre risas, cuentos y dicharachos, compartimos nuestras experiencias del año pasado y celebramos con la esperanza de que el año nuevo será mucho mejor que el que termina, celebramos todos en familia, pasamos un momento más juntos y nos llenamos de ese rico calor familiar que todos necesitamos. Fue un día maravilloso, lleno de ternura y amor, día que esperamos que se repita muchas veces más en el nuevo año a pesar de las circunstancias por las que atraviesa nuestro país, pues cuando hay amor y ganas de hacer nada es imposible.
