Happy hives community day,
Today, November 2, day of all the dead, day of the souls or deceased saints, for me it is not a day to celebrate, but to honor and remember them.
That day was created with the purpose of honoring, commemorating and remembering our relatives or friends who have come before us from this earthly life.
Established in the 10th century by a monk who began celebrating by offering a mass to pray for all the deceased.

This date was observed by the Roman Catholic Church and spread throughout the world, to pray for the souls of the faithful departed, who believe that at the time of death they are not free from sin and that with our prayers and prayers in their memory they can ascend to heaven and attain the glory of God.

In Venezuela it was always a significant day, very commercial and active for the relatives who do their best to be present at the site where the remains of their relatives rest. Today they are traditions that little by little are disappearing, there is little influence of people visiting the deceased, the change is taking place due to the carelessness in which cemeteries are found today, insecurity, how expensive they have become. tickets to move from one city to another, but still there are those who do their best to visit their deceased.

The days before November 2, some people visit the graves, clean and paint them.
The day itself, that is to say on November 2, they visit them at all hours, they bring them flowers, they light candles, they pray to them, there are those who place food, music or spirits on them, they are beliefs and traditions that come from generation to generation, masses or homilies are also offered in the different chapels, that day the cemetery is very busy and full of color, people everywhere coming and going.
It is as if that day we want to shelter them with our presence in their resting place.
Of course, those of us who have deceased people remember them all year long, but nobody forgets that day.
Today I honor my deceased, I have many deceased affections, my grandparents, my parents, four brothers, some uncles, many affections that were ahead of me but that are still alive in me, as long as I continue to breathe and today I remember them looking at the sky, with with watery eyes and a wrinkled heart, that's how we Venezuelans are, we live loaded with a lot of feeling.
The memory will always keep alive the memory of those who are no longer there.
