I don't like the gossip but it entertains me/El chisme no me gusta pero me entretiene.
For some time I have wanted to write about a topic that is the daily life of many people and they even enjoy it, it is about gossip, those malicious comments that represent the negative side of human beings and that hide pure envy. Gossip is harmful, of course it is, although as they would say in my town it entertains, in fishing villages for example it is common to see most people sitting in the doors of their homes (usually fishing families), you can walk down a street and see almost everyone sitting outside and even eating, from there they see everyone passing by.
Sucede que en estos pueblos pequeños no hay mucho con que entretenerse y para algunas personas es lo mas natural del mundo sentarse a conversar,si tienes la mala suerte de caerle mal a alguno de estos tristemente serás presa de sus comentarios negativos .Ahora bien ¿puede un chisme ser cierto? hay un dicho que reza: Cuando el río suena piedras trae y muchas veces resultan ser ciertos , sólo que el que lo arma le pone mucho de su sazón o mala intención y a medida que pasa de boca en boca mas suculento se vuelve.
It happens that in these small towns there is not much to be entertained and for some people it is the most natural thing in the world to sit and talk, if you have the bad luck to dislike any of these people sadly you will fall prey to their negative comments. Now, can a gossip be true? There is a saying that goes: When the river sounds stones brings and many times they are true, only that the one who puts it together puts much of his seasoning or bad intention and the more it passes from mouth to mouth the more succulent it becomes.
Muchas veces nos preguntamos .¿Qué gana la gente con estos chismes? Bueno , algunos ganan plata, tal es el caso de reporteros de pacotilla que inventan cada noticia. Si hablamos de la gente corriente ,diría que popularidad aunque suene irónico o loco; porque un buen chisme congrega gente a su alrededor y se extiende.También pueden ganarse enemigos y tremendos líos,pero en el fondo muy en el fondo ganan satisfacción,porque esta gente se nutre dañando a los demás .

If we talk about ordinary people, I would say popularity, even if it sounds ironic or crazy, because a good gossip gathers people around it and spreads, they can also gain enemies and tremendous trouble, but deep down they gain satisfaction, because these people are nourished by harming others.
¿Existe un chisme bueno? Yo diría que no,porque siempre el chisme conlleva una mala intención muy en el fondo y genera satisfacción personal en el que lo propaga.¿ Podemos alejarnos de los chismes? si,todo depende de ti ,de tus valores y personalidad.¿Pero y si no lo propago? Alli te diría: No te gusta pero te entretiene....
Is there such a thing as good gossip? I would say no, because gossip always carries a bad intention deep down inside and generates personal satisfaction in the one who spreads it. can we stay away from gossip? yes, it all depends on you, your values and personality. but what if I don't spread it? There I would say: You don't like it but it entertains you. ....
