A quiet afternoon; a little corner of peace beside Iblish chattar
One of the most vibrant corners of Rajshahi University is the Iblish chattar , where hundreds of students gather every day to chat, walk around, sing, or sometimes just sit quietly. Right next to this familiar place lies a completely different world, the residential area or also can be said teachers quarter for the university's teachers. No matter how noisy it is outside, there's a serene calm that prevails within.

Though Iblish chattar has often been the subject of various discussions and controversies, life inside the residential area remains quiet and rhythmic. Regular supervision by the university administration and efforts to maintain cleanliness have made this area relatively safe and livable.

Look at the pictures, the greenery & the cleanliness.....a perfect place for finding peace.
I've been to this place several times before, but never really took photos. Maybe back then I thought, well, I live on this campus, I have enough time . But now that the time to leave is drawing near, I seem to be growing more and more attached to every corner of it.
This residential zone is primarily meant for those directly involved in education and research, faculty members and staff working in various departments and offices. Surrounded by greenery and shaded walkways, this part of the campus feels somewhat removed from the daily hustle and bustle, peaceful and dignified. Most of the residents live here with their families. The homes are modest, mostly one or two stories, and tucked in among trees and plants, giving it a well-organized, cozy look.

It’s a quiet environment, perfect for a peaceful morning or afternoon walk. If you enter through the university's Kazla Gate and head toward the bend that leads to Paris Road, you’ll find this residential area on the left. Strolling through it almost feels like walking inside a perfectly painted picture.
