Cultivation of betel leaves ....

Nature always makes me happy. So sometimes when I get a chance I sit under a big tree or get lost in nature in a secluded place.

If you go to the village house, you can stay very close to nature. Same in my case . My mother's father's house is in Kamalapur village of Gournadi in Barisal district of Bangladesh. While walking past the Kamalapur mosque, I noticed that betel leaves are being cultivated in a large area, in the village they are called "paner bor".

Eating betel leaves is a tradition in my country, and that day while spending some time in nature, I came across a betel leaf cultivation place.

These betel leaves are cultivated under quiet light shade and sold in the market, the main purpose of cultivation is to make commercial profit.

There is a specific method of betel leaf cultivation, that is to plant one cutting in each hole in a row. Within a month of planting, the gira will sprout and produce new buds. At this time, when the vine continues to grow, the new vine should be tied to two meters long thin bamboo poles. If some plants die after planting the cuttings should be removed and filled with new cuttings.

Betel leaves also have several benefits, namely -
Helps control blood sugar, heals wounds, lowers blood cholesterol levels, reduces chances of asthma attacks, helps reduce symptoms of depression, skin and hair care, helps with weight loss, helps with common coughs and colds.
