Jamuna river
Bangladesh is a riverine country. The rivers of this country can be called the life of this country. Although the river does not have the same current as it used to, the Jamuna River is still one of the three major rivers of Bangladesh. It is the main branch of Brahmaputra river.
I travel through Yamuna river sometimes. Although my means of transportation is the Yamuna Bridge, it is also a river trip.
Two forms of this river can be seen which are very easy to see. During the rainy season, the water rises, as a result of which the river water rises.
And during the dry season, the water in the river dries up, as a result of which the river bed can be seen.
Jamuna River is one of the three major rivers of Bangladesh. It is the lower course of the Brahmaputra River, which originates in Tibet as the Yarlung Tsangpo, flows first into India and then southwest into Bangladesh.
The Jamuna Bridge connects North Bangladesh with the rest of the region. The name of Jamuna Bridge is Bangabandhu Bridge.
The construction of the second Bangabandhu Bridge is going on in this river which can be seen when crossing this river or when crossing the present Jamuna Bridge.
On one side of the river is Gohalipara and on the other side is Bangabandhu Eco Park. Small boats can be seen in the river, some of them are used for fishing and other boats are used for passenger crossing.
Unfortunately I did not have a phone or camera when I went on this river trip, now I often travel on this river and I am fascinated by its appearance.
When it rains, the beauty of this river increases, many people want to touch the rain with their hands outside the train and many people see the rain water flowing into the river.
If you want to go on this river trip, cars or trains are available from almost all places in Bangladesh.
The view of this river is very peaceful.
