My Circle, My Role.

For the past few days, I've been holding back on writing for this week's prompt on Hive Naija because I've had a hard time choosing a topic. Both topics sound interesting to me.

But today, I finally made up my mind, and I chose to write on a topic I find endearing and personal.

First off, I've known myself to be the cool-headed guy who loves nothing but peace and space. And if you'll want to roll with me or you want me to roll with you, you had better learn to stick with that part of Mr.

But here's the crazy thing: For someone as calm as I am, I've got a bunch of crazy friends. And yes, they don't stick to my bullshit (as they will say).

Michael, whom I fondly call 'Father', will say, "I wonder how you've been able to survive these years in this life by being too calm".

While Leo will add, "We no dey do calm down here. Baba, you are the water; allow us to be the fire. Quench us when need arises.".

I've always wondered why these crazy friends of mine still stick around tightly with me, not minding that our lifestyle feels somewhat off. Shebi dem say, "Birds of the same feather flock together." I feel like I and my friends are birds of different feathers, but we don't just flock together; we stick together.

But there's one thing I've noticed about these friends of mine: Although they joke about how calm and quiet I am, whenever they need advice, they both come running to me. And seriously, this is something they don't hide from themselves.

"Baba, if I come to you for advice, just know say na fuel to fire you want; make my matter be," Leo had jokingly said to Michael one day as we took our routine evening walk on our street.

"So Wetin, you mean be say I no get sense na? Like I no fit advice you, na," Michael replied.

"No be me talk am o, na you talk am." Turning to me, "Baba, you hear when I talk say he no get sense?"

That aside, I've also seen myself at the helm of affairs in the various activities I engage in with others. I've also been the one nominated to lead a delegation or committee or organise an event. I've always found myself in any environment I enter being the one called to lead.
At one point, a friend joked that maybe I had studied the wrong course when I should have ventured into politics.

And do I deliver on all these? Yes, I do.

To be honest with you all, I don't know how I do it. But even with hitches in any project or activity I organise, it always turns out to be a success. Who knows, maybe one day I'll venture into politics. But for now, it's not on the pages of my bucket list. I'm not even dreaming of it.

Till I come your way next time. Have a nice day.

You and your guys don't flock together but stick together love that part, two cold people can't last long together so to create that balance, we need one cold and one hot but you have two hot, it's a sign you're fully covered, that's what you and your friends are and it will last forever.

These friends are such physics refers to unlike poles attracting. I believe the differences bring the balance to your circle and for some reasons, everyone fits in 'accordingly'
