I want to do God's Will but How Can I Stop Doing Bad Things?// Mcgi Topic Review ( part 3)

It's another great day to listen to the word of God by his servant Bro Eli Soriano

One truth we must understand is that we cannot help ourselves to do the will of God by our own strength. Human effort, personal desire, or the determination of the heart is not enough to live according to God’s will.

What we truly need is the Holy Spirit of God to guide and empower us. Any religion or practice that lacks the Holy Spirit cannot help a person fully obey God or truly turn away from sin. Only the true faith, rooted in the Spirit of God, enables us to live according to His will. The will of God can only be accomplished through the help of the Holy Spirit.

The Bible says in Proverbs 16:9, “A man’s heart deviseth his way: but the Lord directeth his steps.”
This scripture reminds us that although we may make plans, it is God who ultimately guides our paths. It shows that without God—through His Holy Spirit—we are powerless to live in His will.

Similarly, 1 Corinthians 3:16 says, “Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?”
This verse teaches us that God’s Spirit lives within us. Through this indwelling Spirit, we are able to live a life that reflects God’s nature and purpose.

In conclusion, we must acknowledge that we do not have the capacity to do God’s will on our own. It is only through the Holy Spirit that we can truly live the life God desires for us. Therefore, we should never assume we can walk in God’s ways without relying completely on the help and guidance of His Holy Spirit.
