Greetings everyone, I welcome you all to my blog.
It's another great day to listen to the word of God by his servant Bro Eli Soriano.

To turn away from evil and live according to God’s will, we need the renewal that comes through the Holy Spirit and true regeneration from God. On our own, human beings lack the strength to completely abandon sinful actions.

As humans, we are unable to stop doing wrong by our own power because our greatest enemy is the flesh. The desires and lusts of the flesh continually pull us toward sin and prevent us from living righteously without God’s help.

This truth is confirmed in James 1:14, which says that every person is tempted when they are drawn away and enticed by their own desires. This verse clearly shows that temptation originates from within us, through our own lusts, making it difficult for us to obey God’s will through human effort alone.

Similarly, Jeremiah 10:23 states, “O Lord, I know that the way of man is not in himself: it is not in man that walketh to direct his steps.” This verse reminds us that human beings do not possess the ability to guide their own lives successfully without God’s direction.

Proverbs 16:9 further emphasizes this truth by saying, “A man’s heart deviseth his way: but the Lord directeth his steps.” Although we may make plans, it is ultimately God who orders and establishes our path.

In conclusion, humans do not have the power on their own to overcome sin or fully carry out the will of God. We are completely dependent on God’s grace, guidance, and the work of the Holy Spirit to live according to His will.
