I Wanted to Rest This Weekend, But Being a Teacher Comes with Bigger Responsibilities.

Well, this weekend will be a little different for me. I am a school teacher, so on a normal weekend all I always wanted to do is to rest, sleep, eat, bath and maybe have some time for myself. Considering how this week has already drained me physically, mentally and all, all I just wanted is to rest my brain.

But then, even though the week has been stressful, I can't afford to rest the way I would have loved to. This weekend promised to be a very stressful one, and I've even began work immediately after work today, and this is what I would be doing for the rest of the weekend, which is writing notes and doing some researches.

The thing is, we are in the third week of resumption already and we are lagging behind greatly in the subjects I'm taking my students. And as a teacher, I always want my student to get the best from me, that's why I take my time to write our their notes and make researches and all that will aid my teachings. But as it is, I would need to add a little bit of speed so I can cover up the syllabus for them.

And like I said earlier, I will be spending my time doing some studying and researches. Asking my seniors in the educational sector some questions and also surfing the internet so I can be prepared to teach, impact and also be able to answer whatever questions being thrown at me by the students come next week.

Another reason why I will be spending my time on research this week is because I would really love for my students to carry out a practical, the practical will be on soilless agriculture. I know my students will be very much interested in it same way I've also developed interest in it. So, this coming week we will definitely be doing that and I need to be prepared before then.

So, its obvious this weekend ain't the rest-filled one I would have loved it to be, but it promised to be a productive one, not just for myself but also for the sake of my students.
