Hive Helped Me Heal, Write, and Grow.

I can confidently say it out loud that hive has helped me in so many ways than I can mention. But I will do my best to talk about two to three key aspects in which hive had helped me.

First off, hive helped me by giving me a space to be me, to share my experiences and all. Talking about the setbacks I had and how illness kept me down, hive happened to be the first place where I shared it. Guess what, most people who know me face-to-face don't even know I've experienced or gone through anything like that. And I'm being honest with y'all, I never talked about it. But hive became the first space where I felt safe enough to share it and I was glad at the encouragement and love I got. It made me feel safe enough to share and open up more about it from time to time.

Also, I love to write, so much. And it was hive that reignited my live for writing. During my recovery period, after my illness, I had lost interest in a whole lot of things, I don't even seem to care anymore, but along the line I refuse to let that experience made me bitter, rather to make me a better human. And being a part of hive was what reignited that love, and today I doubt if I can go a day without writing. I even have hundreds of write-ups on my note app that are not related to any prompt topics on here. Just waiting there, some of them will finally make it here, while some wouldn't.

I can't but talk about the financial aspects too. Hive has helped me financially as well. Countless times have I rushed here to withdraw from my hive earnings to quickly sort out one need or the other.

But I won't deny that I've had times when I feel like, is it even worth it anymore, especially with the way hive is at the moment. Low engagement, low upvotes, less supports and all. But when I look at it very well, I can see very well that the good outweighs the bad.

I like that Hive became a safe space for you to open up and also helped bring back your love for writing. That’s not something to take for granted.

And yeah, the ups and downs with engagement can be frustrating, but there’s still a lot of value here when you look at the bigger picture.

Indeed, hive has helped so many of us here, it's a safe place where our voice matter, even though the journey has not been rosy.
