I Was Punished For Nothing.
Well, I've actually been victimized before. And what made me remember that incident till date is because I did absolutely nothing wrong.
It was during my secondary school days. So we went for break, after break we had mathematics class. Immediately the teacher stepped in we all can tell that he was different. He wasn't the friendly type before, but then that mood he came in with was totally different.

Earlier that day one of our classmates had misplaced his money and we all had searched for it and moved on from it since we couldn't find it. We didn't know she had went to report the matter not to our class teacher but to our maths teacher.
So, the man had asked her some questions then and she had pointed to some of us who she saw around the place she felt she misplaced the money. So, on getting to the class, the man didn't even allow us to greet him, he just started calling names, which I was among.
It was just about four to five of us. The man didn't even ask is any question. He just concluded within himself that we are the culprits and passed his judgement immediately. He punished us and called us names. I was even trying to explain that we were the one who were even trying to help her look for it, but then man wouldn't listen.
He flogged us, gave us punishment and even called us names. I felt so bad. The worst part of it all was the shame. Our classmates and friends in other classes began to avoid us, some called us names to our faces, while some just whisper to themselves.
About two weeks later, a lady was caught red-handed. It was then that the truth came out, she confessed to the theft charge and others, including the one we were punished for. Not as if the teacher, the girl herself, or other students apologized to us...no one did. Even if they do, I'm sure I've learnt something.

That's one of the reasons why I do feel bad seeing the number of people in police custody who were not even given a chance to explain themselves. That experience taught me how painful it is, and that the fact that you're innocent of a crime or something is not enough to exonerate you from suffering for it.
I'm not the quick to judge type. I allow people to talk and I listen to both parties, make my own findings and all before reaching a conclusion on something.

Countless number of general punishment of what you know nothing of especially when it's in a govt sch. The thief calling of names is one I have also experienced and it's something so painful to remember
You get it...
It's so common in our public schools.
Thanks a lot for stopping by, ma'am.

It was very wrong of the teacher to accuse and mistreat innocent people; these days, in my country, you can’t do that because the teacher would end up in prison. Best regards
Very wrong.
But well, he did it.
We don't have such here.
