Who Takes Care of the Woman Who Takes Care of Everyone?

Hello everyone, and welcome once again. About this other topic, I very well agree that the society we live in expects too much from women, and we most times forget that they're human too. They're not robots or machines. They have blood running through their veins, and they have a beating heart, so why expect that to always be strong?

Like I said in my earlier post, I have quite a lot of female friends, and the level of closeness I have with them is amazing. I not only see but also know a lot of things. And with all that I've seen, I can say that we often expect women to do more than they can actually do; even when they're going through stuff, we still expect them to appear as if all is well, even though all is now well.

We expect a woman to be a good woman, a great mother, a loving and supportive wife, a caring daughter, a responsible sister, and a lot more, and we're still yet to talk about how she's still expected to handle and carry her own personal life too. More like we often forget that they have a life of their own too. And any time we now see them break down or cry, we say they're weak, we say they're supposed to keep going, and we tell them they're not being patient enough... Just a lot coming from us that's not helping.

A lot needs to change; first is how the society always thinks or feels that because a woman can handle a lot, the. We should leave her to it. Common, must you suffer somebody? Can't she be allowed to have a down breathing space too...? Even though I'm not a woman, it already feels like I'm talking from a personal place, and that's because I'm closer to women than to men, so I know and hear things. Women deserve to be cared for, to be listened to, to be loved, to be appreciated, and to be supported without feeling judged.

At the end of the day, a woman is human; she's not superhuman.
