( Diy on A shape three quarter gown made for my customer)
Hello hive,
Today I will love to share with you all how i made this beautiful A shape three quarter gown for my customer, it has a turtle neck and botton at the front of the dress .
Material used to sew the gown
This gown is made with 3yards of Ankara fabric
3yard of Cotton lining
Zip
Thread
Botton
Cutting and sewing stage
Body measurement
Burst 37"
Waist 31"
Shoulder 16"
Sleeve 9"
Neck 3"/3"
Half length 16"
Gown length 44"
I folded the fabric into four and I measured the horizontal measurement from shoulder to half length is 16 " the front part of the dress has botton so I folded 2" for the botton allowance then the neck measurement is 3" width and 3"length, the back is 1" depth
After cutting the half length , I measured the waist circumference to be 31÷4= 7:75+ 2" allowance I folded the sket part in form of A shape and cut it out after that I cut the lining of the down part and also the upper part
The sleeve is 9" length and 16" width, the collar is 2"width, the band is 2" width and long enough for belt .
Sewing stage
After joining all the part together and also turn the cloth with the lining I then fixed the side pocket and also the collar then iron every part of the sewing to make the cloth look neat and beautiful .
