DIY on how I made a beautiful stylish straight sket I made for myself to rock with my already made blouse

Hello creative hiver and needlework community how are you all doing and how is our families, happy new week to you all, it’s been some week I posted last my phone was faulty and I had to take it to phone engineer to help me since I don’t have money to get another one for now, I’m so sorry for not being active 😘.

Today I will love to share the complete dress of my last post I made a straight sket with the blouse I posted I thought of wrapper before but I feel straight sket will go well with the blouse and it came out beautiful and elegant.

Cutting step

I folded the fabrics into four then I measure the sket length to be 40” then the waist is 9” fold and the hip circumference is 12” with sewing allowance after that I cut out the front piece and I place it on the fabric to cut out the back piece then i folded the zipper allowance then I cut out the lining.

Sewing step

I firstly turn the fabric with lining then I join the side together then iron it and it look so beautiful😍.

After sewing the sket I feel the sket should be style so I attached this fringe to beautiful it and black net at the down part and it came out really good and beautiful and I love the out come of it and it look so beautiful on me and people compliment me for the style 😁😍.

Me and my daughter rock the fabric and the Ankara print look so beautiful on us .
