DIY on how I made straight gown with two in one sleeve for my sister in-law
Hello hive,

Good day creative friends on hive how are you all doing how is work and family happy mid week to you all and happy Christmas in advance.
Today I will love to share this beautiful gown I made for my sister in-law, she was the one who sold this fabrics in church for children day celebration and I was invited for the program too, so I made dress for her, my self and my daughter.

I measure the half length 18” although the main styles has breast cup but she said I should not add breast cup to her dress, I measured the neckline and cut it and I replace it with net material after cutting the half length I cut out the sket part .

I measured the sket length to be 42” and I added 2” folding allowance then I measured the waistline and the hips line and I cut out the lining. After cutting the lining I cut out the sleeve, the sleeve is two in one the puff sleeve and long sleeve inside.

U added soft stain to the puff sleeve and so that it will stand very well then I went ahead to the the fabrics with lining each , and it look very beautiful after seeing .

My sister in-law was so happy after I delivered the dress to her and she said I’m the only one who always make her dress right that she doesn’t complain about my sewing 😜😁.
