How I made this beautiful bonnet cap for my sister.

how was our day I hope it went well, I woke up this morning thinking of what to do today so I now thought of creating something unique that u can use to cover your head when going to bed , I'm happy to share this beautiful tutorial on how to cut and sew a satin bonnet.

Material used

Half yard of onion colour satin
And green satin
Tape rule
Tailor chalk
Scissor
Thread

Cutting and sewing stage

This tutorial is very simple and short , first I folded my satin into four them I measured from the center 12 inches all through , the shape is in form of circle after cutting it out I fold it into two and notch it to get the center after cutting the circle I measured 4inche width for the band and the length is long enough to go round,then I slit the back three inches in other to tie the band .

Sewing stage

I took my material to the sewing machine and pleat it round until I got 23inches as the circumference of my head after that I joined the band and the bonnet is ready to wear.

Finishing

The bonnet came out beautiful and neat I mixed the satin with another color so that it will be unique I hope u all will fine this post helpful.

This is beautiful @marylove1 , I've been trying to make this but don't really know how, thanks for this tutorial, with this step by step process, I think I will be able to get mine done as well.

Pls, what is the measurement you used for the rope to enable you tie it the way you did.

The band is 4inches width then u fold it to two then the length is 94 and if u feel is too long u reduce it . thanks for liking my post and for your lovely comment
