One's biggest fear can come from different sources. For me, what scares me most are animals. But the major one that can cause me pass urine on my underdies are birds. One of which is chickens, their fluffiness and feathers sparks an inborn fear, making it a very difficult thing for me to even touch one.

This has been happening since my childhood. I still remember the memories of being forced to hold chicks and I would rather die than succumb to holding one which always ended me with a thorough beating from my sister.

The thought of overcoming this fear never came till my adulthood. I have thought several times of facing this fear by trying to lift a chick but that has been a very difficult thing. During Christmas like this, when we have Broilers and Layers, no matter how I try to muster courage to get hold of these animals, the mere sight of them, their eagerness to use their sharp long teeth are all what renders me helpless around them.

All thanks to modern conveniences that have made everything easy. Knowing that I can buy already processed chicken without going through that process of bringing it back home alive, struggling to slaughter it has provided me with a great relief. I don't know if there is a name for this phobia but I don't think I can overcome this fear as long as I'm using my two hands to lift up a chick, hen or fowl.

Apart from chicken, anythinv animals, sends goosebumps down my spine once it comes to me either lifting or doing whatever. I don't owe a pet because of this fear but once it's dead, I can get hold of it by holding its legs but when alive, with its struggle trying to defend itself, I can't compete with that.
