Hello, dear #ShadowHunters community!

This is my entry for the ShadowHunters SMASh Contest #432.

Living in Cuba is not always easy, and many of us keep hoping that, somehow, things will improve. Even so, we still have the privilege of enjoying places of extraordinary beauty, and Varadero Beach is undoubtedly one of them.

On this occasion, I wanted to share the shadows cast by the beach umbrellas. Under the intense Cuban sun, these simple structures become much more than part of the landscape—they provide a welcome refuge from the heat. Their circular shadows spread across the white sand, creating beautiful contrasts between light and shade.

As I walked along the beach, I couldn't help but admire the scene. The rows of umbrellas, the bright blue sky, the turquoise sea, and the elegant shadows drawn on the sand came together to create a truly beautiful spectacle.

Sometimes, a shadow is not only a photographic subject but also a symbol of relief, rest, and gratitude. On a hot day in Cuba, finding shade means finding a small moment of comfort.

Hola, querida comunidad de #ShadowHunters.

Esta es mi participación en el ShadowHunters SMASh Contest #432.

Vivir en Cuba no siempre es fácil, y muchos seguimos esperando que, de alguna manera, la situación mejore. Aun así, tenemos el privilegio de poder disfrutar de lugares de una belleza extraordinaria, y la playa de Varadero es, sin duda, uno de ellos.

En esta ocasión quise mostrar las sombras que proyectan las sombrillas de playa. Bajo el intenso sol cubano, estas sencillas estructuras se convierten en mucho más que parte del paisaje: representan un alivio frente al calor. Sus sombras circulares se dibujan sobre la arena blanca, creando un hermoso contraste entre la luz y la sombra.

Mientras caminaba por la playa no podía dejar de admirar el espectáculo. Las filas de sombrillas, el cielo intensamente azul, el mar turquesa y las elegantes sombras sobre la arena formaban una escena realmente hermosa.

A veces una sombra no solo es un motivo fotográfico, sino también un símbolo de descanso, alivio y gratitud. En un día caluroso en Cuba, encontrar un poco de sombra significa encontrar un pequeño momento de bienestar.
