🦅 ALL ABOUT REGAL PERYTON 🦅

🌿 LORE 🌿

They say there is nothing more beautiful than a Regal Peryton. They prefer to live in the mountains all across the Splinterlands, rarely seen by others. When they soar through the skies, the sunlight catches through their wings and creates rainbows underneath them. Regal Perytons are highly intelligent and consider themselves noble guardians of the natural world, using their magic to help others.

Rihue lay upon a rocky outcropping on the side of the mountain, shivering beneath an overcast sky. He stared at his ruined leg and his broken ankle.

He’d been hunting game and gathering fruits and berries for his wife and daughter who lived back home in their little cabin when he’d slipped and shattered his leg on the rocks. He’d shouted himself hoarse, but it was no use. No one could hear him. No one was coming.

That had been three days ago. His food and water were gone. He couldn’t make it back down the mountain on his own. He was going to die.

But then Rihue heard a call like that of a bird and saw a creature descending through the sky toward him. It had the head and body of a stag, with massive antlers upon its head, but instead of forelegs, two mighty wings grew from its shoulders. Its coat and feathers were white and shades of purple, and it was the most beautiful creature Rihue had ever seen.

The Regal Peryton landed beside him on the outcropping and regarding him with one intelligent eye. Then it lowered itself and, with a nod of its majestic head, extended a wing.

Rihue crawled toward it, up the wing and onto the creatures back. He clung tightly as it spread its wings and soared into the sky, down the mountain, and toward salvation.

✨ STATS ✨

(NOVICE TO BRONZE LEAGUE)
Level 1 to 3 : The speed and magic attack likewise grow with level, however the health power decreased by 1. At level 3, a card with 280 power is already available.

(SILVER TO GOLD LEAGUE)
Level 4 to 6: Level 4 still has the same increased health, power, speed, and magic attack. For this level, you may already have a 500 power. The magic attack damage will remain the same at level 6, but the health power will increase by 8.

(DIAMOND TO CHAMPION LEAGUE)
Level 7 to 8: Level 7 has increased speed while maintaining the same health power and magic damage. Max level will now have 3 speed while maintaining magic attack and health power.

The sole ability that Regal Peryton possesses is flying. It has a higher likelihood of dodging Melee or Ranged attacks from monsters who lack this type of flying ability. Combined with the blind and dodge abilities, there is a cumulative chance of avoiding a melee or ranged attack of about 65%. The only issue is that a monster's ability to fly or avoid assaults is quickly taken away when the uses a snare ability.

⚒ THE BATTLE ⚒

🚦THE RULE SET 🚦

MANA CAP: 22
ELEMENTS: ALL ELEMENTS EXCEPT LIFE

Using monsters with Flying or Heal is the trick for this ruleset, but if you are unable to choose such monsters, use monsters that have high HP and high damage. Don't keep heal units up front. Shield has a very important role. Using Brighton Bloom as summoner can help in this ruleset. Keep monsters with Flying in last positions when Earthquake has done enough damage to both sides.

Ranged attack Monsters may not be used in battles.

A high HP first monster with Void ability will deal with both melee and magic. Give your tank a back up with a tank heal support. Using Thorns or Magic Reflect is also very useful in this rule set. Defend against either Magic or Melee attacks by using the right summoner and then use monsters' abilities to deal with the other attack type.

⚔️ MY TEAM ⚔️

Since the ruleset is earthquake, I choose Obsidian with +1 Magic Damage and focus largely on flying monsters for my 22 Mana cap. As a result of their ability, they won't sustain any harm, which will enable my monster survive. There are 4 monsters in all, 3 of which have flight, while the fourth is a monster with no mana. Now, Regal Peryton will directly strike the opposing monster's health power and have more magic damage. The melee damage dealt by the two flying monsters is 1 and 2.

⚔️ OPPONENT'S TEAM ⚔️

The opposing squad selected Yodin Zaku, a high mana summoner. Yodin adds a blast ability, an additional ranged attack, and one health power. He picks a total of 5 monsters, 1 of which has no mana and the others are melee creatures with the abilities sneak, opportunity, void, and shatter. However, because none of them have the ability to fly, they will suffer 2 damage per round.

1️⃣2️⃣3️⃣ CARD POSITION 1️⃣2️⃣3️⃣

FIRST POSITION

Gargoya Lion, you are the representative of the neutral element! At level 1, this monster has a 1 speed, 1 melee damage, 2 armor, and 6 health. It possesses the capacity to fly, which is necessary under the earthquake ruleset. Given that its high health power is followed by its armor, it becomes a good tank. It can be applied to the ruleset for reverse speed.

SECOND POSITION

Another common reward card that also has the ability to fly has a tremendous health power of 8 and 1 armor, as well as 2 speed and 2 melee damage. Once the tank is being attacked, one of the tank's supports and the recipient of the blast damage.

THIRD POSITION

Regal Peryton at level 2 is the star of our weekly battle challenge. A Level 2 card with a 5 mana cap has a total of 6 speed, 1 magic damage (plus 1 from Obsidian), and 6 health power. We'll have to wait and see how many misses the enemy receives from this monster.

FOURTH POSITION

Fungus Fiend, a creature with 0 mana, joins the team! possessing 1 melee, 2 health power, and speed. Those who are sneaky and have the chance will chase this monster.

⚔️ BATTLE ⚔️

At round 1, As I said earlier, the opportunity or sneak monster will seek this monster and will be easily killed, and its one of a good strat since it will damage the monster wityh no mana cost.

image.png

For the second round, opportunity and 0 mana cost monster have fallen since they dont have the flying ability and they only have 2 health power. For every round the earthquake will come and will deal 2 damage on monster with no flying ability!

image.png

My Regal Peryton took a lot of damage from the sneaky monster; at this point, Peryton has just one health power, but the Pelacor and Gargoya continue to fight valiantly despite taking blast damage.

image.png

At this round, Regal Peryton was able to evade the sneaky attack of Tenyi and was able to survive! Thanks to the flying speead and a great speed of 6!

image.png

Farewell to to Tenyi And Tusk since they were not able to escape the earthquake! At last, my 3 remaining monster will fly high and celebrate for their victory!

Did your strategy work?

Yes, my plan was successful since the chosen monster could benefit from the ruleset. All of them, with the exception of the fiend, have the ability to fly, therefore they won't sustain any damage each time an earthquake occurs. Regal Peryton speed is a beneficial thing since it will have the potential to dodge the attack of monnster with low speed plus it has a flying ability so it means to say it has a 25% probability of evading hostile monsters! Thanks to Obsidian as she was able to give additional magic damage enough to dealth damage to Tusk the Wide as it has a void ability so overall it may only damage 1 on thius monster.

What will you try differently next time?

Next time, I'll try to combine monster, sneak, snipe, and opportunity with the same anbility that is flying. because they were able to attack the other monster's backline. I will be able to kill monsters from various positions using this technique.
