I spent 250.000 GLINT on chest & cards. Will I get a Gold Foil? - Splinterlands Social Media Challenge
Hello, everyone! How are you? Today I'm back with much more content about Splinterlands, where I'll be reviewing the rewards I've earned this past season.

After a few weeks without opening rewards, I have accumulated a considerable amount of GLINT: 280,000. This total was what I accumulated during the fifteen days of the season and what I received in duplicate after finishing the season.
I finished in Diamond I for the first time since I started using the XBOT tool. Unfortunately, I was unable to obtain the Champion III chest as a reward this season.

The first thing I did before opening all the rewards was to acquire a good supply of alchemy potions, so I would have a much better chance of getting a gold card.
Unfortunately, I haven't been so lucky with my last few openings and haven't been able to get any Gold Foil cards.

Buying cards based on rarity hasn't worked for me since the new sets came out, so I decided to try my luck by opening the cheapest chests in search of various rarities, energy, and maybe even the occasional scroll to make transferable cards.
For the first opening, I ended up buying a hundred of the cheapest chests, which ended up costing me about 50,000 GLINT. Let's see if I had any luck:
Comprar cartas por rareza no me ha dado resultado desde que han sacado los nuevos sets, asi que tome la decisión de probar suerte abriendo los cofres más baratos en busqueda de diversas rarezas, energia y también porque no algún que otro scroll para hacer las cartas transferibles.
Para la primera apertura he terminado realizando la compra de cien cofres de los mas baratos, lo que me ha terminado costando unos 50.000 GLINT. Vamos a ver si tuve algo de suerte:
After two seasons without luck, I finally managed to get another transferable card. In this case, I got another rare card that I had already gotten a while ago in its gold version: Surgehammer.
Taking advantage of my good luck, I decided to spend another fifty thousand GLINT on a hundred Minor Chests to see if I could get lucky again.
Después de dos temporadas sin suerte, por fin he logrado volver a obtener una carta transferible. En este caso, volví a obtener una carta rara que ya había sacado hace un tiempo en su versión dorada: Surgehammer.
Aprovechando que tuve bastante suerte, decidi nuevamente gastarme otros cincuenta mil de GLINT en cien Minor Chest para ver si podia obtener suerte nuevamente.
Unfortunately, I haven't gotten any worthwhile rewards from these hundred reward chests. I tried to crop the images with the “best” chests, so as not to flood the post with images of junk chests.
I can't really complain, since in the previous opening I was at least lucky enough to finally get a gold card, which I hadn't been in recent times.
I still had about 150,000 GLINT left to spend and didn't want to open another 300 chests, so I decided to try my luck and see if I could spend it on buying epic cards with the aim of getting my first gold card of that rarity. Let's see how it went:
Lamentablemente, no he obtenido ninguna recompensa que valga la pena en estos cien cofres de recompensas. Intenté recortar las imagenes con los "mejores" cofres, para no inundar la publicación de imagenes de cofres basura.
La verdad no me puedo quejar, ya que en la anterior apertura por lo menos he tenido la suerte que no he tenido en los ultimos tiempos, debido a que obtuve por fin una carta dorada.
Todavia me quedaban unos 150.000 GLINT para gastar y no queria volver a abrir otros 300 cofres, asi que decidi probar suerte y ver si los podia gastar en comprar cartas épicas con el objetivo de obtener mi primera dorada de esa rareza. Veamos como me fue:
Over the last three seasons, I've ended up opening epic cards in order to get my first golden version of one.
Unfortunately, despite buying all the alchemy potions and having the odds slightly in my favor with so many openings, I have never been able to get one.
So I guess I'll have to stop doing those openings and try the rare cards where I have a better chance of getting one. With what little I had left of GLINT, I made the final opening:
En estas ultimas tres temporadas, he terminado realizando una apertura de cartas épicas para poder obtener mi primera de ellas en su version dorada.
Lamentablemente, a pesar de comprar todas las pociones de alquimia y teniendo un poco la estadistica a mi favor con tantas que abri, jamás he podido lograr obtener una de ellas.
Asi que supongo que tendré que parar de realizar esas aperturas y probar con las cartas raras dónde puedo tener mas posibilidades de sacar una. Con lo poco que me sobraba de GLINT he realizado la apertura final:
The result of all the openings has been quite negative. Even though I got a rare card in its gold version, I didn't get a single epic card in the chests, not even in its common version.
