Hello Hivers 💕💘,

For a very successful planting season here in Nigeria, we have some vitals you need to know and also have such as the good Production season day in, day out making you a good farmer as individuals. Planting different types of crops will also help you to gain more ground and keep you updated on how much more you need to be hard working as always. I could remember, when I was in the University, I had to include the rearing of animals, such as Rabbits , Dog, and also chicken. When I did this, I practiced alot of animals husbandry which opened my eyes into more successful human-animal relationship as well.

  • These are my present Maize farm which I already planted then two months ago now this is the last lap of growth and development. When I was planning to plant these maize, the weather condition was not very suitable and favorable but at the long run, I went for a very good and healthy Maize seeds and now I am enjoying the full hybrid seeds. Once in a while it is awesome to put all our effort in what we do most especially farming. Farming is a gradual process so it is not meant to rush. When a try as much as possible to rush it may end up with what is called disaster. So you take one step at a time in order to show for your hard work and persistence.

  • Engaging in crop production is a very long task. You wait for a very long time for you to have a very bountiful harvest. Nevertheless you will not sleep till your crop germinate from the soil. Then you start waiting for rainfall. Thereafter, you apply organic manure to boost your plant. Then you weed your crops weekly to make them grow extremely well and two develop good root.

  • Farming always makes you to be determined to face any circumstances you may find yourself. I have seen so many cases where by I planned already to set for the farm, the rain actually started few minutes before plant to set for farm. Not along the line I waited for like 3 hours during the rainfall. And I have a boyfriend I proceeded to the farm. Initially I was discouraged, later on when I got to the farm everything normalized and work started. The joy and happiness to be a farmer is very huge.

  • Planting early maize is also advisable. No matter what the condition may be I need to try as much as possible as soon as there is a quick emerged rainfall, the first rainfall, the second one, by the third one you plant your seeds. This will also help them to grow more faster and also produce fruit while the rain is still falling.

  • Some of the produce looks so small but I can assure you that what is really growing up very encouraging. As individual farmers you must look at the end products not when it says still growing up. This is what really discourage most people to go into agriculture. You see a lot of Farm produce so small when they are still growing up. The next thing you say is that the Farmer did not work extremely well. No, you look at the final end product. After the whole Harvesting might have been done.

  • The specie of Maize really matters as well this is because after the whole production. The produce will be harvested and sorted out. Which will make your work and very successful at the end of 3 months and a half or 4 months and yours depending on the type of Maize 🌽🌽 specie you have with you.
