Getting More Knowledge Of How Its Being Done Perfectly As Foodstuff In IPATA MAIN MARKET || Foodstuff Comsume By All Tribes In Africa And Nationwide

Hello Hiver 💕💘,

Going from one place to another seeking for new ideas, new knowledge and also new foodstuff processing was what got me into this which island did in one of the biggest market in ilorin town. This market has been in existence for a couple of decades and it is still raining and if not topping the charts for now.

I went to the market to meet a friend while I also do the seeking of knowledge at the second part. it was a very lovely moment although it took me more than two hours to locate this particular market shop or store. The owner of them food stuff is called Allaja Idera she has been marketing this kind of stuff for more than 15 years in this particular market as well so I interacted with her so much within the time period I was there. she made me to know that this was how this particular food item or stuff is been prepared at it raw source. This particular food stuff is called Dried White Yam Set, there are also some of the other part of the yam which are not white in this particular shop but mainly I focus more on the white yam set.

The white yam set is very common when it comes to a very big market like this because people come from north west east and South to come and purchase this kind of food stuff either for themselves or for trading as well. This was our I met them at the shop and I also took so many pictures about it.

  • These are when some people met me there and they began to request for different kind of dried yam sets for grinding. because that was the next step when you purchase this kind of food stuff. you have to purchase it first and also go to the grinding machine to help you out.

  • You can definitely see a young lady bending down to see how it is being measured. So she came while I was still there to purchase her own foodstuff.

This kind of yam sets is grinded into flour to make it your flour at the end of the process. I also intended to purchase a little portion but that will be next time when I am back for it.

It is a foodstuff that is consumed by all race or tribe. No matter how or where you come from and also it is being consume throughout the world as well because lately before now I met some white women and men purchase a little portion and they left.

HOW TO PROCESS IT.

  • to the best of my knowledge this is how to get used to this particular stage. After you go to the farm you are waste a not too much or kind of yam which also has its own season. Thereafter you harvest a lot of it and in some cases you can slice some if they are too big. And if they are very moderate you keep them like that and you also sun-dried them till they look so much very dried. That's all. It also serve as preservative because it can stay up to more than 2-3 years as it is presently.

When you go to the grinding machine, you grind it and it turns into flour .When you grind it at first, it brings a lot of clubs then it will go in again like fourth or fifth time. By this time it will have turn into flour. Then you keep it where there is here to make it cool down. At this point it is ready for consumption. Wow! Now I know how to grind the sweet potatoes! I actually never knew how to do it, no less, doing it three to five times. This was such a wonderful, complete post, and everything you do, you do it well.

Thank you so much for not only taking part but, helping #MarketFriday make a mark! You make it awesome!

Thanks so much for being a part of #MarketFriday!

#MarketFriday began as a way to reach out across the globe and learn about different cultures through their markets, especially local markets and farmers markets and eventually branching out and evolving over time from straight shopping to a cultural affair as it highlights how we differ and then again, how much we are alike. We have become a melting pot of culture, but, it is still the Rituals, Festivals, food, architecture, even your language/languages that separate us... Along with the fact of what is these things are normal for us. There are unwritten rules that rule our social behaviors. I see this as allowing for increased tolerance between cultures and nations, and opportunities to come together on an even playing ground. A strong culture can be beneficial to a country as it promotes unity, especially during a crisis, peaceful debate, and open dialogue. I have learned so much about all of you and it has been an amazing experience. I can only hope that learning about each other can help us work together for a peaceful world.

Fridays are all about the #MarketFriday Challenge! Looking to take part in it? Here is how:

Rules of the Road to Join #MarketFriday!

  1. Go to the market, or anywhere that you pay money for a service.
    Take pictures! Be creative!
  2. Tell us a little bit about the market or the event. What brought you there? What did you buy? How much did it cost?
  3. Post the picture(s) Of course, you should tell a little bit about the ones you post
  4. Use the MarketFriday Community Platform to post #hive-196308 (this is not required, but appreciated)
    5. Drop the link into the MarketFriday comment section so I can find it
  5. Following me and reblogging the post so more see it would be appreciated !! Not a rule, just appreciated, more vision for more views on your posts!
    7. You must put #MarketFriday by @dswigle somewhere on your post. If you don't and someone reads it, there is nothing to tie #MarketFriday to that post.
  6. Please only one post each week. Believe it not, I run out of voting power if you put in many more than that.

As always, please remember! #MarketFriday loves you!
