In West Africa Nigeria we have just two types of onions which are the white onions and also the red onions. These are the commonest onions you ever see here where I reside and you can also cultivate this particular all yours which we yield massively well. There are a lot of circumstances and challenges regarding the Cultivation of crops to be planted. This is why you will never see people going into this type of crop personally or even commercially. But I can assure you that it is very safe for planting. What you need to do is to find a very good and healthy Onion bulb. This alone takes a lot of great insights before you can conclude in your own mind that this particular on your ball is safe for planting and also that it will grow very well.
What are you doing in most cases is that I go to the local market to source for a very good and healthy Onion bulb which will also save a lot of challenges ahead of me. When you did not choose wisely you have a lot of negative challenges along the line. So you need to choose wisely and know what exactly you are going into. Onion is a day to day food ingredients that is being used for cooking whether you like it or not. You can also use the green onions for cooking. This green onions and those ones that sprout out after you might have planted this onion bulbs.
I met a message on my discord channel and I came here to do more exposure to the particular question. Revealing how you can Fetch and detect healthy-looking onion bulb. I'm going to show us more on your bulb planting and how it grows. The question was that how did I always know a particular Onion bulb is good for planting and how I always get it planted?
I go to the market to any type of onion seller to source for a very good and healthy Onion bulb. When he is picking them up I use my eyes to monitor them. I also make a complain of which type I want. In this case you can see me with the white and the red onions. So those are the ones I intentionally asked for. And it was for a purpose which I'll be revealing very soon. When you get to a market tell the Onion seller you want the best onion bulb 🧅🧅. It will help you a lot.
When you get home or to your own farm you can sort them out evenly. Sorting out is also applicable for every farmer who wants to go to this type of crop production. I will show us our I select my own type of onions for planting. So any type of onion is also good for consumption and for planting proposes.
I told the man who asked to question that, when you want to plant your own yours you need to go through some kind of soil composition mix. This is what I mean you always need to be assured that your soil is very compatible. It must contains a very good nutrients formation and formula. This healthy fertile soil will also assist a lot to build more healthy roots quickly. I'm going to show us more onion planting tips in my next post.
