this is also a very good example of mixed farming which so many people did not like to practice ever since I've started moving around from one farm to another the mixed farming is very rare and the question I've been asking is why.?

the main purpose why people actually run away from mixed farming is simply because of the weeding aspect of it. When it is time for weeding in this case manual weeding. It's always been a very stressed and tense situation because of the mixed cropping which is taking place right from the day one. It is much easier for those who actually know exactly what they will be going through in the next few months after planting. This is a very typical mixed cropping or farming which is a mixture of maize with Okro. You can see a very good combination but when it comes to the weeding aspect the Farmer actually left it on done

You can see so many weed such as sunflower weed already going up gradually in the midst of Maize 🌽🌽 with Okro on the same piece of land.

• This is the Okro Plant among others.

This is also cassava on the same piece of land.

This is part of what it has been cleared as it is on the same plot of land.
