She Got More Better After Being Rushed To The General Hospital Taiwo Stadium Road Ilorin Town For Quick Emergency Attention || No Home Remedy But Quick Hospital Rescue.

Very late in the evening today our baby girl slept and woke up with a soar and smelling-like liquid in her ear which eventually caused so many things such as itching and discomfort. At first when she woke up at exactly 6:30p.m. in the evening it was all about serious inching, serious crying and we quickly observe this so the next thing we did was to carry her to the General Hospital at emergency Ward so as for them to quickly attend to us because here in Nigeria we have so many procedures to follow in the hospital generally speaking.
We quickly got there at exactly 8:45pm late in the evening because it is something urgent and emergency. I've never experienced such before because the smelling-like liquid has already stick into her left ear and formed a sticky wax which I took the pictures in the evening as at that time.
- This was when we got to the general hospital at Upper Taiwo, stadium road Ilorin town.
- This was when I went to let some transactions to keep a record in the General hospital to open a folder and a file for her. IREMIDE AKINLOTAN
Later on, we met few Nurses and Nursing students as well already at their night Post duty.
- I took the pictures of what we were told to buy at the pharmacy store inside the General Hospital Taiwo stadium road.
THE LIST.
- Cotton wool
- Gentamicin.
- Methylated Spirit.
- Syringe and needles.

Let all parents note this, whenever we observe any strange signs in our children, let not go for self Medications at all. Let go to the appropriate and nearest qualified hospital.

Good thing you went to the hospital! Seems to be a serious infection. Little ones are strong, but also vulnerable. I hope the medication will work fast!
Do you pay the whole bill for medical treatment in Nigeria or do the state pay some of the expenses?
Thanks for your concern.. No. Not at all. The state do not pay any bills at all. We were told to pay for some bills before any check up or thorough medications was prescribed.
Well, I know that it is like that many places in the world, even in USA which is the richest country on earth. Here in Denmark we have free healthcare, so a homeless man will be treated just as well as a billionaire and none of them pay anything. It is all funded through the taxes. I hope that will one day also be possible in Nigeria.
Amen to that prayer, hope it wont be long, but for now relocating too denmark is now on my mind

Isn't that just scary? When little ones don't feel well, it is always alarming for the parents, especially if they cannot speak yet. Earaches are not fun at all as when you lay the baby down, it hurts worse and begins the painful throbbing.
I am glad you acted immediately on it and went to seek the medical attention she needed. I am also happy to see they took great care of her and reassured the two of you. That was a bagful of stuff from the pharmacy! Thanks for including the entire process! It is always interesting to see how things are done around the world.
Hopefully, she did a turnaround and she is feeling much better.
