Some Few Observations Made From My Farmer Colleague's Maize 🌽🌽 Farm PRODUCTION At 4 Weeks Old

Planting this time around is not very easy because the rain hasn't got up to the expectations at the moment so several plantations has low outfit because of lack of rain at the moment. A friend invited me to come inspect his maize Farm and also and enlighting him more on what he can absolutely do to make it look more appreciate at the end of the season.
But when we got to some area on his farm I saw some coerce soil formation which he eventually thoroughly planted some few maize on it. So with the little observation I made I talk tomorrow about this lack of loamy soil or preferrably lack of good soil formation but at the end I truly observe that all the neighbouring farmers actually manage the soil for farming and the result was not too good. Planting of maize at the moment here in ilorin kwara State Nigeria is summer limited because of the lack of rainfall. Before the rain can actually there in abundance very well it will be in the month of July or August. But by that time what will be the benefits a farmer we actually receive before then for planting. This and many more questions went through my mind when we were welcome through the Maize Farm. I took some pictures to show us the soil and the already planted crops, how it looks like
Although in some soil portion it is not that serious, but it is serious because the rain hasn't fall on it for a very long time close to 1 week plus. And if you are a farmer you need to know this that plants need water every other day at least three - three Days interval to make it grow very well.
How he does his farm is very encouraging because of the ridges he made for the maize plant. Even when we have a very good rainfall it will have a less impact and falling this plant down maybe due to erosion.

That crops looks very healthy. Does he have an irrigation system?
No. Not at all. For now, no irrigation system unless the Natural rainfall . For modern farmers now. We need more irrigation system and channels to add water at regular intervals.
Is easier to manage with that, but I understand what you say.
