Hello Hivers 💕💘,

In agricultural mindset there are different types of green vegetables even from those ones that you do not know. And this is why we have so many good write up all over the community to show us and also to enlighten us how to go about it. It is very difficult to identify some of them because it looks like weed. Yes if care is not taken you will take weed for green vegetables. In particular this type of green vegetables is normally called the ancient green vegetable. Why is it called that type of name and it is because it one of the oldest green vegetables we have in Nigeria and also in Africa.

  • If our old parents see this type of green vegetable then you will see the type of name they will call it instantly. Although it may have different types of name according to country state even locality. The general name stills stand firm. Sometimes ago I was with an old woman who happened to be around 85 years old and above. And what she told me about eating green vegetables was very superb and outstanding. She also mentioned why she choose to eat green vegetables at least 4 to 5 times in a week. Now I can see the secret behind her good body system, good Healthy skin, her growth and development and also her interaction with other people. And after so much conversations she showed me this particular during vegetable around her Farm. What she did was that she planted a lot of this old ancient green vegetable along a water path which always give access to much moisture to the plant and more everyday. It was an organized type of Farm. So after the visitation and interaction I also planted it inside the mobile Seedbed and it was a very successful plant. I call it successful planting because not our green vegetables you plant survive. There are some that they will grow halfway and die off. So I took some pictures some few hours ago to show us how to really and identify the old ancient green vegetable specie.

When you look at the physiological appearance of the green vegetable, you definitely see that it has some kind of sharp edges all over the body and it grow up to it maturity state and it is shown below.

  • It also has more seeds above the plant. Immediately you see it it's more of seeds at the top of the whole plant and other branches too.

Its also has two types or two species you can also identify but because it very similar. This one is with red leaves stalk attached to the main plant while the other one is green all through.

It is very good to have it grow up in your farms or garden. I once in a while cook it for my Mom and she always feel comfortable eating it with swallow food or with white rice.

The ancient vegetable grow older you can always take your time too trim it regularly and eat it. When you do so you will normalize and adjust the growth of the green vegetables around the farm or garden.

When it reaches it full maturity stage they seed will have been a very grown-up ones, such that, what I do is to harvest all the seed, and keep it safe for the next planting season. Likewise I have also a planted the seed at the moment.

What I really show is that you can plant your green vegetables inside the mobile seedbed without any stoppage at all. What You need Is the Right tools, right agricultural land and the positive mind to kickstart from the scratch gradually.

An awesome part of the plant is that, the plant grow up without any type of sharp edges within the growing up stages. And this is why it is very succulent to touch but when its finally reaches a matured stage it will grow up with more sharp edges in such a way that you may not be able to touch it or fetch it from the plant source if care is not taken.

Thanks for stopping by as well to read it up. In most cases we see that people out there does not fancy eating of green vegetables. But yet we consume more of starchy foods everyday. No balance diet, no fruit consumption and more.
