Hello Hivers ๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ’•,

Poultry animals can be a little bit for me when it comes to rearing of them and keeping them as either for personal use or for commercial purposes. There are some instances whereby you need to monitor them to know which of them is Laying and also to keep your record. Record keeping is very essential and necessary likewise very very important when it comes to agricultural mindset lifestyle. There are so many people who lost count the line when their animals arrived their farm which is not supposed to be at all.

  • There are also so many farmers who did not keep records of their Farm, of their poultry Birds, of their dogs which they are rearing and keeping, there are so many farmers who do not keep the records of the rabbit, and so on which is very wrong but because they do not have much time to keep records, or observe the animal one after the other, or disinfect where they are because of fleas and lices they do not attend to their animals regularly. By so doing you are opening your farm to so many risk and diseases which will affect them later on in life along your farning season. So care must be taken when you are into agricultural activities. I also keep my own record daily to know which of the beds that are still laying and need more support.

I went to the turkey section where at the moment I would like to talk faintly on them. They are not hybrid set of Turkey Birds but they are easily manage and the response ever since then has been so positive because they lay eggs everyday. At least they lay two eggs everyday.

TURKEY FEEDING ROUTINE:

  • I would like to talk on their feeding habits which I love all aspects of my own family section to be open and friendly with everyone because I want you to motivate hundreds and thousands of people to go into farming lifestyle. Ever since I collected them from very tender age of 4 weeks I have been trying my best to keep them healthy and stronger. So I always give them the pellet feed which has doubled its price presently but I don't always have any regrets of keeping them at all.

IMG_20211226_152131_281.jpg

  • this is the type of food I always use very early in the morning and also in the afternoon but whenever I see that they feel so hungry again or they do not lay at all since morning I'm going to add another set of food for them at late evening. So normally I feed them twice per day and also once in a while three times per day.

I always use pellet feed for them and the experience so far has been so encouraging and productive

IMG_20211226_152259_930.jpg

  • I prefer the pellet feed because it has also more of what the birds needs to make them lay extensively. It contains the high amount of protein and the rest. Also when they consume the pellet feed they tend to get to their maximum consuming rate very easily meanwhile if they consume the grinded feed they will consume more and more and they will be overfed

  • So when the Turkey consume their breakfast in the morning the 10th to lay egg before I also give them feed in the afternoon which I came to show you how it works. I came there and I saw them already laid out exactly 2: 00pm in the afternoon.

  • When you want to use them as commercial debt you need more hands to support you in order to keep your records and also to observe so many times per day.

Turkey eggs are great. They are a lot richer than chicken and duck. Chicken I find the easiest to eat plain, the duck and turkey work exceptionally well in baking. I let my birds free eat so they get big quick. We are getting a lot of turkey chicks in a few months to raise his year.

Wow that's a lovely target hit ๐Ÿ‘. I also love Turkey eggs so much my little baby girl eat at least four times in a week. And also she sometimes take it to school for lunch as well. To me I prefer the Turkey eggs, outside it is much more bigger than the chicken eggs it is also richer like you said. This is also why I love to show all mine article in a practical way so that hundreds of people will learn from it and also reblog it as well. Thanks for stopping by.

Compliment of the season to you and your family ๐ŸŽ„๐ŸŽŠ.

I am always interested to see the differences and similarities between our farming styles. Your climate looks more tropic compared to mine with snow on the ground from November to March.

Yes. That's very true. I'm into the Tropics and we have alot of changed weather as well. But just the rainy season and also the dry season. But when its dry. It very dry.

Yeah the drought season can be rough. I grew up where the water was more scarce and we had radioactive water. When granite decomposes it gives of radon gas and other heavy radiiactive particles. we would hual our drinking water from up in the mountains at the south entrance to Yosemite.

Wow. That's so serious. Very strange too. Yours is more severe than ours then. But above all. We are surviving the season yearly.

Wow... You're doing great sir. I also rear turkeys, you can checkout my last post it's about how they reproduce. You tend to know more on how to rear them, I will really love it if you share with me the strategy you use in making sure the little chicks survive. I lost 5 chicks in September ๐Ÿ˜ช
