Enough Room In The Roof

There's a place that's so cool,
a place other than a school,
a cubicle for my swinging mood,
a place with the horizon in view,
In the day, and watching for the crecent moon

A roof over my head,
When i feel almost homeless,
And no one really cares,
I mount the ladder steps,
And the world is under my legs.

The log over me,
May be in rows, oblique,
but in oblivion at least,
I know i wander not in,
The tears in my eyes, journal sips.

Lines to hold on to,
And not ropes for my neck,
A concrete footstool,
And not an immovable mess.
What a place, so so cool!
