¿La religión nos hace buenas personas? / Does religion make us good people?
!Hola! espero se encuentren de maravilla Hivers, en esta ocasión nos adentraremos en uno de los grandes misterios de la humanidad que ha dejado un sin fin de interrogantes a pesar de ser un tema abordado por filósofos y pensadores de gran influencia durante sus respectivas épocas; y al día de hoy, sus aportes siguen siendo sólo trozos en el enorme telar que nos han heredado para continuar con su legado.
Hello! I hope you are feeling wonderful Hivers, this time we will go into one of the great mysteries of humanity that has left endless questions despite being a topic addressed by philosophers and thinkers of great influence during their respective eras; and today, their contributions are still only pieces in the huge loom that we have inherited to continue their legacy.
Todos tenemos las mismas capacidades de ser buenos o malos, basándonos en los conceptos que las sociedades imponen para estos; nacemos con un sentido neutral, y a medida que crecemos y vivimos experiencias nuestras personalidades se van moldeando. Algunos psicólogos afirman que, desde los primeros años en que se obtiene el uso de razón (o conciencia) se puede percibir si seremos "buenos" o no. De igual manera existen quienes aseguran que son las acciones o situaciones por las cuales pasamos durante la niñez, adolescencia y juventud quienes definirán la personalidad de cada individuo.
We all have the same capacities to be good or bad, based on the concepts that societies impose for these; we are born with a neutral sense, and as we grow and live experiences our personalities are molded. Some psychologists affirm that, from the first years in which we obtain the use of reason (or conscience) we can perceive if we will be "good" or not. Similarly, there are those who claim that it is the actions or situations we go through during childhood, adolescence and youth that will define the personality of each individual.
La religión, la sociedad, el ambiente donde nos desenvolvemos, nuestras amistades, ente otros; son factores que pueden influir de manera muy significativa en cada persona y las acciones que podrá tomar en determinadas circunstancias. ¡Entonces!:

What things make us good or bad people?
He tenido la fortuna de compartir con personas de diferentes creencias religiosas, como católicos, evangélicos, judíos, islamitas e inclusive ateos; una fantástica experiencia el conocer personas creyentes de algunas de las múltiples religiones que existen, pero son contados con los dedos de las manos a quienes he percibo con intenciones nobles y sinceras, sin anteponer una obligación religiosa para justificar sus actos de ayuda.
I have been fortunate to share with people of different religious beliefs, such as Catholics, Evangelicals, Jews, Islam and even atheists; a fantastic experience to meet believers of some of the many religions that exist, but they are counted on the fingers of the hands to those who I have perceived with noble and sincere intentions, without putting a religious obligation to justify their acts of help.
Si tal vez, algún día aprendemos a ser mejores personas y menos religiosos, nuestras acciones se comiencen a multiplicar como átomos; siempre y cuando sean SINCERAS y sin esperar agradar a otros.
If perhaps, someday we learn to be better people and less religious, our actions will begin to multiply like atoms; as long as they are SINCERE and without expecting to please others.

La religión no nos hace buenas o malas personas, pero Conocer a Dios en su máximo esplendor, ya sea en un amanecer, un atardecer, una suave brisa en la cara o cualquier momento maravilloso que podamos experimentar, nos ayuda a acercarnos a ser mejores personas.
Religion does not make us good or bad people, but Knowing God in its fullest splendor, whether in a sunrise, a sunset, a gentle breeze on the face or any wonderful moment we can experience, helps us get closer to being better people.
