DEC Sinking?

Crypto prices appear to be in a downtrend and I can see it through the prices of DEC and SPS. I am a bit shock how quickly the prices are fallen just within the past week.

The DEC to Hive ratio is falling rapidly in the past week and since Hive has been falling it equates to lower DEC price in terms of dollars.

DEC supply continues to fall although at slower pace in the past week than in other times. The slower burn rate of DEC maybe one reason why DEC price has been falling.

It is a bit concerning seeing DEC price almost 15% from the average 7 day value. No major shift in changes has yet to really occur, but the news regarding latest town hall on CP to SPS may have factor into the swift decline in token prices.

Without real change and we see price fall this in my hopes is just a temporary trade that will end and revert back to its mean once people settle down. The drop in card prices along with token prices maybe due to players who are trying to head out of the exit after hearing latest updates.

At current price of 0.00204 Hive per dec. If you believe in dec token then hold them or else you can convert every 100k dec to 200+ Hive.

I believe in hive more than dec, and the reason i believe in dec is due to hive. Still in future if hive breaks its all time high then, the 200 Hive now will be worth $600+.

PS : Splinterlands team have few ways and i like them. For example dec is needed when we have to buy new upcoming packs. So dec is not a meanless token, it has a usecase.

Anyways, i hope the best for both Splinterlands as well as Hive.

I utilize Splinterlands a lot more than hive blog therefore I have been dollar cost averaging into Dec and sps. I am taking heavy losses but I have high hopes for the game. Majority of what I earn in both hive blog and Dec is because of Splinterlands !LOL

The SPS absurd requirements are clearly the reason for this. And it will fall even more of not reversed.

The requirements are high but doesn’t stop players from playing at higher leagues. They just earn less if staking less sps. !WINE !LOL

Yes I know that. However, I have max Chaos Legion cards and I play in diamond/champion. I never sold SPS and even bought some. I'm "only" at 30k. Of I reach champion 1 I earn about 10% of what I used to earn. With my thousands of dollars worth of collection I earn a couple dollars per season. With this I will earn a couple cents. It's just absurd.

Way too much DEC still in circulation and honestly there's really no peg to keep it at $0.001 it's more speculated that that's what it should be. Kind of like vouchers speculated to be worth $1 but worth FAR less. There needs to be more utility for all of these things and hopefully it's a lesson for resources in land before that rolls out.

I wasn't thinking about it but I do think SPS was the reason for the decline. I haven't converted my Hive into DEC just yet. I haven't moved it into Hive-Engine just yet. So I guess I might be able to get it at a discount but I wonder just how much the SPS changes will affect things. The requirements just look to be way too high.
