My New Additions in Splinterlands

I had been patiently waiting for a good opportunity to swap hives into DEC. The exchange rate has been good on DEC for weeks but I since DEC was close to peg last night I swapped into DEC hoping to build on my collection.

I was focusing are cards that would replace some of my legacy cards that are currently locked in land. In addition if I saw reasonable bargains I would purchase. Astonishingly many cards of what I had saw last few days had been sold. I still think I snagged some good cards but weren’t all ideal.

Here are three that I added and all three are reward cards.

Both Tide Biter and Revealer are from the Chaos era and I have both before, but in this latest purchase I max out both of these cards.

Tide Biter is a great second position card because it has reach and reflection. Revealer also has reflection which was why I have been eyeing max level of these two cards. A lot of rule sets such as thorn,
Blast and magic reflect would not effect these cards.

Revealer also has stun which I like a lot. If I am able to inflict stun on an opponent often I buys me just enough times to knock out opponents. This reminds me why I still use Medusa in water splinter as I have stun with her even at level 5.

For the longest time I have held onto Lord Arianthus as a tanker card in multiple situations. However with land I have moved the cards into plots. Therefore I have been eyeing on an alternative option to LA. Here is Onyx.

For less than $19 I got him at max level. The abilities are very similar to LA as it has thorn, return on fire, void, and shield. The card basically is design for defense but if I combine it with a reach attack monster it can become a great attacking monster especially in reverse speed rule set.

These cards were what I considered reasonable market price. I was excited to add these to my collection and will be anticipating a big boom in the coming week as new rewards updates and public news of the game.
