Splinterlands - Latest Promo Card Unveiled

A sneak peak of the upcoming common promotion card is out and it definitely looks interesting. Of the bat the stats looks huge for a common card but don't forget one needs 400 of these in order to get it to max level. Therefore the only way to max this card is through at minimum purchasing 400 chaos packs in the bulk sale.

Splinterlands came out clarifying that the packs sales even if not in bulk the players will still receive the promo pack at a ratio of each Chaos pack bought equating to one bcx promo card.

Special Abilities

I would have never thought halving ability would be this limited in the game but to see the new promo having it is a blessing. I have yet to own a card that has the ability and would be a great addition.

The other abilities in Protector and Forcefield makes the monster ideal for supporting against monsters attacks as a middle to rear setup. There is also the Enrage ability which could make this monster a lethal attacker if it gets hit too much before getting knocked out. Above all the monster is neutral so can go with a combination of splinters.

Earth and Life would have multiple chances to stake protect. Meanwhile forcefield makes this monster pretty difficult to knock out if attacks are higher than +5. Mix in healing or opportunity would make this monster really difficult to beat in my humble opinion. A truly good to use monster if battle was high mana.

Method Buying In Bulk?

As of now purchasing Chaos packs would earn players a spot in air drop, promo card, and if bought in bulk of 100 or more they earn additional packs when buying with crypto and Vouchers. Then of course there is the Splinterlands promotion Link Here.

As discussed through multiple social media channels like Splinterlands discord, twitter, and hive posts there are group buy-ins currently gathering multiple player's pack purchases in order to achieve the special promotions making it very cost effective to now be buying Chaos packs.

Conclusions

The promo card looks destined to be a good one and considering there are less than 5 million packs of Chaos left and that 25k packs continuously get burned everyday the amount of promo cards available will be limited. There would be less than 1,250 max level of this common promo card when all said and done. Will you want to be one of those who can achieve such a feat? Even if not at max level it maybe well worth investing in some as there is a lot of potential uses in formation setups.
