Splinterlands Latest Townhall

It’s Monday and we had another town hall. This one started off with a honest understanding that we may have to wait two weeks before land 1.5 rolls out. The date was set last week but the team has recent encountered minor problems that needs to be resolved before roll out.

I prefer this type of news than no news. The team is transparent and we know they mean well. A two week wait to get over after thanksgiving holidays are nothing compare to not knowing at all what the progress is and where we will see results.

A lot was discussed on the Dec and sps flywheel and good to hear Matt emphasizing we are still in the early stages. That in order for a fly wheel to really take into effect we would likely need a lot of other assets burned for Dec before sps. Still a good sign to see close to 10million sps has been burned for Dec.

There was also hints that we will be able to have discussions regarding the dao. Clayborn discussed live proposing to have dao halls on fridays similar to the current town halls on mondays. It seems promising.

There were a lot of questions but one that stood out to me was the SoulKeep. The potential to opening beta version to any and all users who have nightmare packs may likely have and opportunity to play. This may attract more attention to the side project as more players get an opportunity to play.

Currently only players who own 500 or more nightmare packs are allowed the opportunity to play with beta soul keep. I would like to see and play in the near future when it opens for anyone to try out.

Again we got almost solid confirmation that land 1.5 will likely roll out two weeks from tomorrow. There is a chance we can still see it tomorrow depending on an internal meeting on status. It is likely I there will need to be a wait but I rather wait two more weeks than to have waiting years on something that didn’t work.
