Splinterlands My Thoughts On Latest TownHall

Yesterday townhall had a lot of discussions on the upcoming updates. One such update was the land 1.5

I had some concern when news came out that land 1.5 would not include Runi. It would come as land 2.0 and so would other mechanics of land coming to 2.0. We have waited for years on latest game and here we are still waiting.

On the bright side land 1.5 will be arriving any day now. In fact there were hints given that August was a very possible date for the roll out. Furthermore players were given advice to prepare for when land arrives.

Things to prepare for such as accumulating enough DEC as players will need them to stake cards or purchase more cards. Speaking of cards players should be aware if they have cards locked up they would not be able to transfer into the Land and stake them. If cards are not ready to be staked in time the initial start for what ever gains in staking maybe lost.

Overall a lot of emphasis was on how players needs to be prepared as soon as possible because once land comes out the expectation is a rise in value of assets and tokens since demand will rise. I continue to prepare for land now that I have amass my goal of sps. What are you doing in preparation for land 1.5 arrival?
