Splinterlands - Quick Leagues' Review (New Reward Cards)

avatar

With another season near its end it will be time for players to review their final league rankings to determine their amount of rewards. There will also be new changes implemented come 9/13, which is tomorrow.

With that we will briefly talk about the different types of leagues for all players playing the game. First off only ranked battle games counts toward a player's rating. The rating will go from 0 all the way up over +4700. This rating will change at the end of every rank battle and will go up for a win while go down for a lose.

The breakdown of leagues are as follows:

Excluding novice there are 5 leagues and each league broken into three stages. The leagues are from order of the lowest to the highest: Bronze, Silver, Gold, Diamond and Champion. Each leagues three stages from order of the lowest to the highest goes: 3, 2 and 1. For example a Silver 3 or Silver III is lower in rank than a Silver 1 or Silver I. Further in the post you will be able to view the charts and their respective rating corresponding to respective league ranking.

Novice to Gold

From Novice to Gold there is limitation on summoners and monsters allowed to be used in battle. For instance if you have a summoner that is at max level but you are playing in silver league, the summoner will be capped at a level based on rarity. For silver league it is a level 4 rare summoner or a level 3 epic or level 2 legendary.

Daily quest rewards also increase if league ranking is higher. Silver league goes up to 4 reward chests for completing daily quests. While Gold can get up to as high as 8 reward chests.

The first update that will happen tomorrow is the % chance of earning a specific reward when opening the reward chests, whether it is daily quest or end of season.

image.png

A significant change is that the likelihood of earning a reward card is 50% while potions are 25% and DEC the remainder 25%. This will mean most chests will result in cards for players.

The prints for the new 21 reward cards based on post link from Splinterlands is:

Off the bat just by reading the commons print it should be clear that 1 card common alone at 8,000,000 is more cards printed than what is currently in the entire game's circulation.

image.png

Current entire collection of cards available to use and trade is less than 8 million. Talk about a ton of cards about to come on line for players to own.

Diamond and Champion Leagues

image.png

I categorize Diamond and Champions together because both leagues have no limits on summoners or monsters levels. In some cases players can get to Diamond league without having max level cards but it will be almost impossible to get to Champion league without max level cards.

As chart for rewards in these two leagues lists at higher values than lower leagues it maybe worth the price to invest in max level cards in order to earn more chest rewards. With more chest rewards the greater the chances of earning highly sought after reward cards.

Summary of Reward Chests Value

splintercards.com is the source of all the info posts here and I will also include a snapshot the calculated amount worth of a chest reward based in DEC.

image.png

One chest is worth close to 100 DEC which is equivalent to approximately $0.558. With this estimate players can determine season ending rewards total estimate values.

image.png

There you have it. In Bronze there is a max value of $5.019 estimate in end of seasons chest rewards. While Champion has a max value of $83.657. As noted earlier all this is still just an estimate. Potentially earning more or less is very likely as these estimates are based on average value of the potential in opening a specific type of reward.

Until next time thanks for reading!!!
