SPS Price Turning The Corner?
Currently the largest trading platform outside of Hive ecosystem that is trading SPS is through Gate.io The price of SPS is nearing $0.0037 which is off its lows. Reason I am looking at this is mainly to see if its time to accumulate more SPS versus Hive. As I have year end goals of trying to amass 250k SPS and 50k HP. My reach toward HP goal will be coming soon as I am under 100 HP from target. On the other hand my SPS target remains elusive.
At this rate I will need a staggering 1k SPS each day if I were to try to hit the 250k which is unlikely. Even passively with my earned HP if I convert all of it into SPS I would come out far short of 1k SPS a day.
One of the ways to earn more SPS will have to be joining tournaments again, but as of now I am not very active even in daily battles. I barely get five wins in modern to sneak in a couple of SPS but my passive earning from staking SPS is still yielding a lot more. Another method to earning more SPS is converting my earned DEC from land and rentals into SPS. This will come into play only when my staked DEC is close to 100% and as of now it is not even at 50%. This may take weeks before I can start converting for SPS.
I will also be thinking about diversifying my crypto investment as I mainly been staking DEC and Hive as both assets seem to be most liquid. To focus on SPS would mean I need to either do less of both DEC and Hive or drop one of them. Thought for now is to drop DEC once I have enough staked and continue building SPS and Hive stakes.
It looks llike long way to go especially if you are not playing a lot.
Tournamets are really great way to get more sps but even I have not much time to play them after making post and daily grind xd
And if you advance to second round you need to play total of 22 battles just for single tourney 😅
I remember tournaments where I just pay entrance fee and yield more even without winning as there were not that many who sign up. Got to look into it again.
Yes that is still possible if you get at least 1 win.
It's always tough to reach goals sometimes. I haven't done tournaments in a long time, but I do think it was a great way of earning SPS. If you can't spare more time, then I would find out which goal you think is more important and focus on that.
I am slowing down on my activities here and Splinterlands. Starting to get burned out lol
