The Dwindling Secondary Market?

I don’t know how many have noticed but the secondary market for out of print cards seems to be dwindling to the point where single digit amount of cards offered are the norm. Besides chaos cards the older sets seems to be limited to so few that price differences per bcx can be very noticeable.

Take for instance Untamed summoner Chanseus the Great 1bcx is more than that of Zaku! There is just 6 cards on sale in the secondary markets for Chanseus versus 11 for Zaku. Then for a multi bcx card the Chanseus is $23/bcx while Zaku over $66/bcx.

The spread in price just getting more and more extreme as the amount of cards available is getting scarce. With less than a week before the land roll out I would imagine this all getting worse as the amount of cards being staked means less for sale.

I am in search for cheap cards to stake but it’s only getting more difficult with the limited supply.

On the positive this may mean the value of cards are seeing a low point as there are less sellers. The signs of price bottoming besides Chaos cards seem to be at play here. We can revisit this a week from now when land arrives to see if demand and supply for legacy cards changed.

Until next time thanks for reading!!!

It makes me wonder where all the cards are going. I wonder if people are starting to hold onto the cards because land is coming out soon.
