Daily Drawing Challenge: Day 3 - Reptile [Tortoise]

Hello everyone! Greetings to you all.

Today, I present to you my new artwork for the daily drawing challenge day 3 of September with the theme "Reptile." Reptiles are vertebrates with special kind of skin covering them. I chose a "tortoise" which falls in that class.

Tortoises are reptile species of the family Testudinidae. They are land dwellers unlike some other kinds of turtle that are aquatic.

These animals have shells which protect them from predation and other threats. These shells are tough and hard to crack, they retract their necks and heads directly backwards into the shell to protect them.

The work was done with a blue ballpoint pen on a cardboard paper. I used cross hatching technique to create this piece.
