Drawing A Portrait [1160]

20230606_112134.jpg

Hello everyone!

Today, I want to share with you my new art work. It's a random portrait drawing of an elderly woman with mixed feelings. You could hardly tell whether she's laughing or in pain.

The portrait was done with a blue ballpoint pen on a cardboard paper. I used scribble technique to create this piece.

Below are my step-by-step processes:

Thank you.

When I looked at the thumbnail, I saw a happy old lady but now that you've mentioned, one can't really tell if shes in pain or not.

This is an amazing artwork as usual ❣️

Thank you. It all depends on what you see and how you see it.
I like the fact that you see positive vibes in her😊👍

drawing a blank face is easy but an elder person and there expressions is alot of work .focusing on the wrinkles and skin texture i applaud you for this amazing work that also with a ballpoint 😍

Yeah, getting the expression with those wrinkles are always daunting.
Thank you. I am glad you like it.

She's almost too happy. I know people like this. Joy is just overflowing. He really brings that part out in the artwork.

A two-faced reaction. You can't tell but can still tell. It depends on one's perspective. Just in the case of saying 6 is 9.

Amazing art as always.

she for sure looks like she's sad to me. I love you're technique. Seems easy but, anyone who's been drawing for while knows how tricky it is to make a drawing pop and express emotion. You make it look effortless. Well done mate
