Giving Thanks - Pen Drawing

Hi all, greetings.

Here is my new art work. It's a pen drawing of a boy with eyes closed and hands clap together in prayer.

It's been a long time I visited a general hospital. I was opportuned to go there yesterday where I went to collect some stuff from someone and what I saw really changed my perspective about life.

I saw a couple of people in different departments with various sicknesses and injuries. One was was struggling to walk with full bandage on one of her legs while she held a walking stick while another had a neck band on his neck. Seems he had a broken neck.

I also saw another man in the waiting room having a serious prayer and was outspoken irrespective of those who were there as well.

Well, I had a little relief when I saw a woman with her new born baby walking past me in another department.

Sometimes, we chose to be or wish to be like other but don't actually know what they are passing through.

Truth is, everybody has their own problems. Just face yours. And always remember to give thanks to your creator.

Yeah, while you still have breathe, always remember to appreciate your Creator everyday.

This piece was done with a blue ballpoint pen on a cardboard paper using scribble style. You can see my steps below:

We wish to be like somebody else and when we do that we can never be happy of ourselves.

Inspirational artwork and inspirational words. Words of gratitude for who we are, the blessings we have, the creator who provides. The world could use more gratitude even when times are bad. Just knowing you can rise above will bring hope. Hospitals are difficult places because there are so many injured and sick, but there are also many recovering and being given another chance. Lives are rebuilt. Families are rebuilt. Foundations are relayed. Faith is restored. I am grateful for you, your art, and your words every day.
