Resting Tortoise - Pen Drawing

20230106_113055.jpg

Hi all!

Here is my new pen drawing. It's a pen drawing of a tortoise resting flat on a ground with nothing to worry much about.

While growing, I read and was told stories of this creature. How cunny they are, their abilities to hide inside their shells when attacked and their inability to walk faster or run.

Also, something, we did interchanged them with turtle, thinking whenever they enter the river, they have the abilities to swim as much as they like. Damn, these two creatures are entirely different but somehow related.

The drawing was done with a blue ballpoint pen on a cardboard paper. You can see my steps below:

Thank you.

Fables tell as that they are very slow but the internet tells us different. Until now, I dont know why are they different from turtles.

I like your drawing because it seems like just relaxing and chilling.

Reading the comments, I wonder how many people have seen one in real life or own one. These are in quite a few different ecosystems. I bet most people don't know these are probably living in their area.

Excellent challenge again. A lot like the impala horns. Great stuff.

It does live in my area but in a certain locality. They are definitely rare.
